Hi Fairlyn finesse was by Gemini.I foaled her and then owned her untill i think she was about six or seven.
I sold her to Harry Hoy from Universal packaging, and the day i sold her to him she went Sup at the UK inhand champs shown by Jane Stewart.
Gemini was by Orion out of a heavy weight hunter mare by the HIS stallion Pollards.
Her dam Counteswells was a beautifull TB mare, she had three fillys by Gemini. F.Faberge, F. Finnese and F. Fantasia. They each became the champion at the old AA/PBA UK inhand championships.
Finesse was a british national inhand champion and went to HOYS both inhand and undersaddle. She qualified for HOYS as a large hack and then as a large riding horse and was the most wonderfull ride!
Her dam Counteswells was a multi inhand hunter champion and inhand hack champion including being the champion at the royal show. She produced i think 13 foals and the others were all either race horses or went on to be dressage horses.
She never gave us a colt! We would have loved one but we lost her before that was possible!
If you want to see pics of Gemini then have a look at my website www.romarnicstud.co.uk and i think there is a picture of Finesse under saddle being ridden by Sarah Hesford (now Walker) at Haydock Park the year we all got didlled for our prize money by the Australian ladies!
Wonderful British Riding Pony breeding in Comberton Cadet. All top flight "ponies," (now the height has been extended.) I "did" and showed Bwlch Hill Wind, Bwlch Zephyr and Perdita, all continuing the wonderful records of Bwlch Valentino, Count Dorsaz and the many Cusop ponies that produced a myriad of superb children within that family. Too many Supreme/Championship wins to add here - but plenty of them!
