Cazza (owner of Elustarius) does so much for animal rescue. She has built up a whole network of contacts and works tirelessly to rehome and rescue all sorts, especially greyhounds and cats. She often struggles to find the time and the resources, but she never says no and an awful lot of unwanted, often starving and injured animals, both here and abroad, owe their lives to her.
One of her latest ventures has been, with her partner Joel, to hand rear two kittens from less than two weeks old following their mother being killed by a car. The third kitten had already died as a result of someones carelessness before Caroline got there, and when I saw them they were so young and weak that I really didn't think they could possibly survive but once again she's performed miracles.
The tabby (Rupert) is staying with her and the black & white (Vinnie Jones)came home with me on Saturday and is an absolutely gorgeous, bonkers, happy bundle of naughtiness. Wish I could post a photo but I'm totally useless!
So a BIG, BIG thank you to Caroline and Joel from all the animals you have helped so far, and a special thanks from me and Vinnie XX
P.S. Caroline - Sincere apologies for ringing yesterday and upsetting you by saying that Vinnie had escaped and was lost in the cold and the rain when in fact he was safely tucked up asleep behind the sofa! Ten minutes of absolute hell for both of us!

Hi Charlotte
Hopefully Caroline will see this shortly and post some photos. The last thing I remember saying is "I'm coming to visit this weekend but I definately do not want a kitten!" and the next thing I knew Vinnie was home and running up and down the back of my leather sofas! He's absolutely gorgeous, knee-deep in toys and you would never know what a tragic start he's had. She did a great job. |

Yes thanks, we are fine. Harvey is rugged but hairy and having a bit of a holiday, we are hoping to be moving up to Norfolk very soon to be near Caroline, in fact Harvey will be going to her place and I will be very nearby. I saw your question printed in the arab magazine, I'm glad you are still enjoying him.
This is my first day at work since Vinnie came home - I find I am waiting for five o'clock to come so I can rush home! He looks like a proper little cat now. I thought he was lost yesterday afternoon, I was hysterical but he was asleep behind the sofa, even though I had looked there several times, he's so tiny I didn't see him! Have a good winter Charlotte, see you in the spring! x |

Aw, such cute little faces! So glad they survived, it's very rewarding to rear orphaned kittens when they start to get stronger and cheekier! |
