Rosie has a Masta which fits fabulous. shes a 5' 9". I'm looking for another horse so if it needs rugs will get another rug the same. The only rug I have ever had a problem with was the Amigo summer sheet which rubbed the bottom of her mane, but on a previous thread the majority of people loved them but got a bigger size than usual for a better fit. Masta - true sizing except for the cheapies (my 6ft mare has a 5-6 leaky rainsheet and a 6-9 cooloer!!! ), vents can swamp youngsters who like to chew them, step on them getting up - my exp is they leak and wither pads drop off in under a month
Rambo & Amigo come up small for adult horses but probably ok for youngsters - they do have the rigid binding all around the neck so heaveir weights press on mane
For investment, go FAL or WB are well made once you find the style that suits your horse....
Meanwhile angel - while we're talking rugs I may be able to help |

I found them a bit on the large side and leaky, that was a few years ago and I havent tried them since altho a few friends have the check techs which they find good and I think are fairly true to size. I like WB, Fal and Horsewear. |

I'm a big fan of Weatherbeeta in particular the Orion, which fits well and doesn't seem to rub long manes. I agree with Mrs Vlacq that the Amigo's come up small, even on my 3 year old they were too neat! Fal and their cheaper version are very generous and I found that I needed to go smaller on them. |

They can be true to size and sometimes just a bit big. Have gone right of Masta because they leak like mad actually the last one I bought which was a summer turnout and cost me £50 odd quid is in the bin because it was a complete and utter waste of space
I have now started buying his new wardrobe in Amigo, much better quality, cheaper and virtually 100% rainproof.
The only thing is that they are quite a bit smaller than what they say they are, only just though.
Janet
ps. he is having all new stable rugs in Amigo aswell. |

I have a masta lightweight turnout which I absolutely hate, it leaks and rubs and now the lining has come away from the outer part for no apparent reason! Good excuse for a new rug I feel! Mind you I have also got a masta regal stable rug which is a lovely fit and still looks fine afer 6years. I really would like a fal lightweight turnout as I have got a warrior turnout with a half neck which is lovely and makes mirshid's coat really shiny!! |

l find the horsewear range the best but pricy last for years do not move are very comfy and do not leak both rambo and rhino can be worn in and out of the stables so you do not have to change them rhino come up a bit small so you do need a bigger size l also have the amigo rain sheets which again are very good
the shape for arabs is brillant...my oldest is about 10 years old now and still gets used

I find Rambo,Fal (fabulous rugs),and Masta fit true to size ( ours are all 5,9) however Premier also fit beautifully,Bucas are great but only if you have Very broad shoulder/chest horses ( secd D, perfect, Arabs can look like they are wearing their Dads jumper ).. |
