Took my boys to Pembrey Hunter Trials today
Took Sert into the minimus (2ft6) and some of the fences were a bit scary :) hes only done a couse of tiny logs before. Came out of the start box and he saw my mum and a friend standing just after the 1st fence and stopped about 6 foot before the fence with his eyes on stalks :) after that he jumped the first 3 which were straightforward, then the tiny drop, did the gate off his back :D. Then next was a log pile, clear . He went up and down the normady bank like a pro at 8 and 9 was another logpile. 10+11 was a chair and a corner (never done before) and he flew, 11, 12 were fine. Then we had our 1st stop at a bright blue pallasade, he jumped it the second time. another sall log, fine. Then the water, no chance, he wouldnt go near it :D so we missed that and flew the roll top, Stopped once at fences 18+19 and he flew the last.
So chuffed with him :)
Murph then went into the pairs, over the minimus course and we had a clear
Then took the murph into the 3ft Novice
First 2 were straight forward, Next were the steps wich were much deeper than they walked :) He flew the drop and fine at the gate (4+5). Next was the trakkenna, which he spooked at in the pairs, no problem. The normandy bank jumped really well. Then we had a double at (8) pallasade into tyres, he got a bit close to the tyres but we cleared them. 9, 10, 11,12 + 13 he did like like a pro :). 14 was a HUGE open ditch, was worried about it but he locked on and flew, 15 no problem. With the water he scrambled over the log into the water but we did go through fine. The last 4 went brill and we finished with a clear round :D :D :D
No results yet, they were having problem and we wanted to get back before it got too late.
More pics when the pros get put up and a few friends took some so fingers crossed :)

the pics are great so glad you enjoyed it Pembray is a loverly coarse, have some great pics of daughter doing it on Autumn (arab) a couple years ago she was 6th in the novice.
