Thats awful 
Can't understand a word of whats being said but hope its saying that this behaviour is unacceptable - the person's face should not have been obscurred either. People should be held accountable for their actions. If they don't have the emotional capabilities of being able to recognise that what they are doing is wrong then, IMO, they can't claim to have them for feeling embarrassed when society finds out what sort of people they are.

im so shocked i wish i could understand what they were saying i take it that woman was trying to defend herself well i would put her on a small circle an beat the cr**p out of her unbelievable what some peaple will do to get results and these people probably call themselves trainers my backside it makes me so mad poor horse lehla

| She's a psychopath and should be locked up. I made myself watch this the whole way through. I wished that horse had gone over backwards and crushed the evil bitch. Horrible and to think she is still going near a horse. What is even more terrible, I bet she is not the only one that does this. |

Here's a translation of what was said:
Newsreader: This is the training of a dressage horse: Again and again the former top rider, whose name we can't disclose due to legal reasons, hits the animal for 30 minutes non stop. A hidden camera films the totaly terrified horse even being beaten with the butt of the whip. We show the footage to the editor in chief of a reputable equestrian magazine (Oldenburger Sportpferd Magazine). He is shocked.
Jan Toenjes: You don't understand "What is she doing there?" and the horse certainly doesn't understand it either! A senseless beating...I'm just lost for words!"
Newsreader: The former well known dressage rider hits her horse almost 500 times alone in this 30 minute training session, but when she is confronted with her actions she denies them
Reporter: "Why do you do this?"
Wels : "I don't do "this" at all!"
Reporter: "Why are you denying this?"
Wels : "I don't torture horses-why don't you go and have a look at the horses?"
But pictures speak a different language:
An animal protection worker leads the horses out of the boxes and they show evident signs of mistreatment. The pasterns are bleeding and their mouths show the scars of deep wounds-obviously the results of the brutal trainings methods. This is not the first time this athlete (trainer) has been accused of mistreatment of animals and is probably the reason she has now moved to Denmark . Animal protection organisations intend to forward this footage to the authorities so we never have to witness these images of tortured horses again.

And people who put horses in training with them and know about it are just as SICK!!!!!

What a horrific piece of film
I also think that the trainers face should be out there for people to see....is that her own horse or a clients?? Either way it is despicable to "train" a horse like this!! I was willing him to just go for her, poor poor horse to suffer at the hands of this evil b***h.
Ghaleem..that link you posted IMO does show abuse, im sure i am not alone in thinking that "rollkur" or whatever they like to call it, is a totally unnatural way to teach a horse to carry its head, look at their eyes for pitys sake!! Horrible, uncalled-for methods

Horrible beyound words,  those people are worse than any I can think of because they take a trusting loving animal and abuse it, no wonder horses turn nasty sometimes I know I would be a killer ! I hope she NEVER gets near a horse again, but I fear this is just the tip of the iceburg |

"St George reveals:Christine W is at it again!
Shocking pictures confirm further acts of animal cruelty.
Shocking video footage with brutal scenes of abuse shocked viewers on several TV channel yesterday.The dressage rider Christine W who has already been convicted by German authorities for her cruel training methods and been served with a ban on handling horses (which is however not yet in force), continues to beat her horses in a stable in Denmark close to the German border. St Georg managed to locate Christine W there. Together with the film production company "Hamburg on Air" a hidden camera was installed that captured footage of the torture. Sessions take place 5 days a week for between 30-40 minutes at a time. During this time blows rain down on the horses. In one of these training sessions just one horse had to endure 470 blows in a period of 32.5 minutes. As can be seen in the video, Christine W sometimes even turns the lunge whip over to hit the horse with the handle.
The images are even worse than those that horse lovers from Hamburg secretly recorded and forwarded on to St Georg in 2007.
The torture wasn't without consequence: The horses showed a multitude of injuries. They are not (even) the worst, reveals Christine Becker from Borstel Hohenraden,the vet who viewed the footage.More concerning are the multitude of hematomas and swellings (found on the horses).
Meanwhile "Dyrenes Beskyttelse" ,with 75 000 members one of the largest animal wellfare societies in Denmark has become officially involved.The regional manager Ole Caspersen has inspected the horses,measured the wounds with a ruler and taken pictures.
The chestnut mare "Wolke" was injured the worst.Again and again Caspersen,who is also a vet, walked around the mare looking in disbelief at the scars which were left from the whip. The horse has large swellings on her stomach and flanks from the continuous and heavy use of spurs. However he has little hope that the Danish Police will do anything to stop Christine W actions. The police in Denmark are a little more lenient than in other countries, he told reporters from "Hamburg on Air".
Christine W is due to justify her actions to a court in Kiel on November 18th. The state jury will present the footage (of the cruelty). Will it finally be possible to put a stop to this?"
So this is actually the second time this woman has been investigated...
She has apparently fled back to Germany and stables her horses near Munich.
Very much feel like going over to court in Kiel on 18th of Nov and giving her a taste of her own medicine Disgusting woman

| Horrible. Disgusting. Sadly not surprising though when sadists like Anky van Grunsven (yes Ghaleem, I most certainly do think her methods are abuse!) and her horrrific use of rollkur are at the top of the sport. |

a lot of this goes on in the dressage world im afraid. its not uncommon for horses worth hundreds of thousands, or even millions, to have deep gashes on their mouths.
its very sad. ive seen enough mistreatment of horses whilst working on yards to NEVER let my horse be done by anyone except me or my best friend ever again |
