We have just worked out that when I go and pick up Shakaya, it'll be 14 years TO THE DAY that I picked Crystal up.....
25th October 1994 when I picked up Crystal, and 25th October 2008, when I pick up Shakaya....both Saturdays as well........
what a seriously freaky coincidence.

Thats a good co-incidence 
We have had a couple of spooky co-incidences lately.
The lady we got Angel from has her birthday the day after mine and Angel's birthday is the day after one of our homebred boys 
Earlier this year I was going to have a look at 2 colts that Sam Moody had but for various reasons didn't go - Sam Moody had the sire of my new boy before he died
If I had put Angel in foal I was going to try and carry on the "Angel" theme in some way - Rio's Mother & Grandmother have the prefix "Divine"
Rio's birthday is 25th March - thats the exact date when my mum paid the final instalment for her horse of a lifetime, Blue, who is still with us. Rio is exactly the same colour, right down to the silver streak in his tail . Lets hope he is going to follow in Blue's footsteps, he has done everything from eventing to endurance. The only thing he hasn't tried is driving but I think that at 30 he a bit too old to start  .

Just hope that Shakaya will be as good as Crystal is....hopefully she will.
Crusader...my new girl is Sam's mare Judals Shakaya.....now that IS freaky!

Crusader - bennie found a fantastic home in Ely, Cambs, but Oscar is still here, huge, and he's going to be a spectacular riding horse, may hang onto him now.  |
