Anything that helps with stiffness and bruising? My mare came over backwards on top of me yesterday, I got trapped between thrashing horse and stable wall so a bit battered and very stiff, any miracles cures?

| You poor thing, the only thing I can think of is arnica cream for the bruising. A good long hot soak in a bath may help the stiffness. |

| Thanks for the ideas - used to use arnica until I started getting itchy where I used it, will give the witch hazel a good try though....oh and the long hot bath sounds gooood!! |

no no hot bath - hot baths do not help with bruising they continue the bleed. stiffness yes bruising no.

Trying Witch Hazel at the mo - fingers crossed Vino sounds good...only I don't drink  Kept moving all day so I didn't get stiff, mucking out seems to work haha!!
Yes feel very lucky, no idea why she did it - she's 20 and had her feet done her whole life with no problems, just today she obviously wasn't in a good mood [:-O] |
