Just wondering how you all getting on with hay/haylage? Due to constant rain and flooding my supplier is very down in the amount he's been able to cut I'm sure i'll be able to source good quality hay/haylage or am i being oppotomistic(sp) cheers nikki
Do you know, i was going to post something similar. Round here alot of the hay and straw was cut, and is now lying in the fields going moldy . I think we're going to have real problems this year trying to get anything. A lot of haylage was cut earlier in the year, but very little hay. I'm panicking a bit Ros x
My blacksmith was only saying on Friday that hay and haylage will be scarce. Fields and fields of the stuff not cut, cant be cut because of the muddy ground. Luckly my supplier cut his early so we should be ok, fingers crossed.
