thought id share some pictures of my 3 girls as i know how much i love looking at other peoples horses.
Nakeeta is my bay mare, 8 yrs old, has had 9 months off due to injury. She is bred by Michael Harris.
Cristle is my chestnut mare, 4yrs old, she is the one that i ride and compete.
Ellie is my grey mare, shes a part bred. 23 yrs old. i sold her 5 years ago and she has just been given back to me 6 weeks ago as her owner has been made redundant.

lovely pictures!!! so nice to hear you have stood by your old girl! so many people just don`t want, or cannot afford to keep the oldies, virtually giving them away as companions to anyone! ellie looks so happy |

Thanks for your coments.
It is lovely to have my old girl back...shes not had a lucky life since leaving me. the girl i sold her to rode her too hard and she injured her stifle out hunting, she was then lame for 3 months and basically left in a field and not touched as she could no longer do what the girl wanted her for. she was then sold again to a lady in her 40's for quiet hacking/pet which was perfect but then she put her on loan to a kids farm and went to check on her a few months later and she was skin and bone, overgrown feet, hadn't been wormed and was on a bare field. The wpman who owned her had recently been made redundant so couldnt afford to keep her so she was frantically ringing everyone she knew to find her a home. It worked out quite well for me as when i ride one of mine i have to lock the other in the stable and they hate being left by them selves so i now have a perfect companion pony and shes good as gold, she has no vices
JAJ- the chap in my pic is my boyfriend and yep he is lovely and im very lucky as he helps me with the horses everyday. |

No Keeta (bay mare is not in foal) Im gutted...vet tried two times....first time the semen turned up 6 hrs late and she ovulated....second time everything was perfect but she didn't get pregnant!! spent £1200 in the process!! ohwell. we will try again next year. i think im going to send her up to paula and daryl in hampshire so that she can be covered naturally by legend alpine mist.
fingers crossed for next year xxx |
