I am so so sorry. Shed a tear for your dear Chloe too. RIP wonderful girl.
These topics always get to me because I know one day it will be my turn. I dont know how you bear it and my heart goes out to you.

She looked a lovely mare, and fabulous for her age too - she' obviously had a good life

| Not even an oldie by your standards, at least you have time to plan the last days but to come unexpectedly while she was doing so well with her latest baby is harder to come to terms with. I feel for you both, what she produced has made you very proud over the years, gone but I am sure never forgotten.RIP |

Thank you all for your kind words - we have buried her in the paddock where all the babies take their first steps into the outside world so she can watch her grandchildren play
Yes Rachelle, she is Theo's granny. We cheered for 'good old Chloe' as we watched Finn Guinness choose one of hers as BNC, and again this year with 2 of hers at Malvern. They are in the dressage arena, out on beach rides, up top in showrings across the UK...
That impulse buy (for £300!) all those years ago was a stroke of destiny.
'Hallmark' is doing well so far - eating well and not stressed at all with his mates to chat to (open plan stables). He has a strong personality like mum so I am sure he will do just fine
