Hello, and to all the people I already know! Fire is fine, she has a sarcoid on her chest which is being treated homeopathically, and managed to bash her head in the field last year and now has a lump... she isn't the luckiest of mares! She looks rather stiff, and she's only 10, but she's happy and still manages to race about and boss the others, so as long as that continues she's staying with us. Flat field and a stable group of friends - just what the vet recommended and touch wood it works. |

Your horses look very nice and your mare is related to mine as she also has The Shah in her pedigree, but on her sire's side. |

Hello, nice another person who likes riding in bits of string, I ride my partbred mare in a bit of string i made myself, my Stallion I have had to mouth & I ride him in a bit, I can ride him in string too but for some reason he likes having the bit to hold onto which I find totally alien,
anyways lovely pics of your lot,
a tasmanian string rider looking forward to reading more about you & your horses |

It's fascinating to see how all the bloodlines link up. I had a gelding a while back from the Blue Cross who was a Shapoor (spelling?) son. Kazhak I see you are from Tasmania, have you heard of Philip Nye? My little Welsh/Arab likes to hold a bit as well, he is very soft in the bridle, but braces in the halter. He's in the photo in the woods. |
