Many congratulations to IBN AJWAAD on recently completing his NASTA grading. "it was only a matter of time" as he is pure performance pedigree. His sire ARIOSO is himself a premium stallion, based on his own and winning offspring in showing, ridden showing, eventing etc etc. for those interested in his bloodlines he is on allbreed
http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/ibn+ajwaad
He is a mix of the stalwart old English breeding crossed with Egyptian, some good show horses in there too!

forgot to add, his owners are Helicon stud in North Wales, and ably ridden in his competitive career by daughter Claire. He's also been racing.
Arioso was bought as a foal, born 1977, and his dams sire Arran was also at stud with owner Margaret Young, these are some of the people I still regard as 'breeders'.
As they compete on the open circuit against all breeds, are probably not as well known as they should be in the Arab world. |

Congratulations, a well deserved result for all the effort and dedication. Two successful offspring graded and both by AHS Premium Stallions! These Stallions are bred to pass their attributes om to their stock, and this is exactly what they are doing, well done. ! |

I think the problem then was he was actually away at a racing yard, they were thinking of going down the AI route for him, well worth asking again as he's now got premium status he will become available, whether AI or natural service. |

Hi Thought you might like to see some pics of the PBA stallion who also completed his NASTA. He is only 5! He was awarded a class 1.He is Romarnic Ranger by Fairlyn Gemini out of a premium trakehner. He has been eventing this year and competes in BD in which he already has over 100 points! |

hi Nicola, sorry if i missed your boy out of the roll of honour, not intentional I had only heard of the 2 purebred Arabs and know Margearet and Claire's horse.
often the part breds are the ones who carry the flag for the Arabians in open competition, well done on his achievments so far, much more to come I suspect! |

Congratulations, to Romarnic Ranger and the team, who have worked to grade him. I do hope that more stallion owners will work toward this performance grading,as it gives a good indication of a stallions forte, the marks are available on the Nasta website. when the stallions offspring start to compete we will then be able to judge just how valuable this grading can be. |
