Sorry about the fuzzy photo, ancient camera and miles away (excuse). Vera fell in lurve with this gorgeous boy. He is such a sweetheart, Vera spent ages snogging with him over his stable door (don't tell John or Dennis), you definitely wouldn't say he was stressed.

OMG isn't he just GORGEOUS.
He seriously is one of the nicest natured horses let alone a stallion I have ever met. I was kissing his nose and he just fell asleep in my hands.
I mentioned to Micheal that he could drop him off at my yard as he was passing....
I wonder how much a horse like him would cost, dream on Vera.....
Thank you for posting it Den it had made my day,
Emma - Chocolate, lots of........? |

Really grainey as I cropped & enlarged to show the full dramatic marking on his face. He really was a sweet boy:

I too thought Savio was a beautiful boy (Om El Arab bred, which I love).
Vera, I have some quite nice photos of him, face and full body shots, but don't know how to post on here, I could e-mail them to anybody whose interested though. |

Vera, if you look on Michael Byatt's website at Shakir el Marwan, you will see roaning on the body, albeit to a much lesser extent than Savio. He is out of Om El Shadina by Marwan. Watch the video, it shows it off well. |

Did you find out who owns him now? And ask? Or leave your name and tell them if they are ever interested in selling to contact you? You never know. The other thing to learn is where is he standing? The sheikhs are usually interested most in that which wins outright. With his facial marking.... you just might have a chance but you will NEVER know unless you ask. He was only shown twice in the US but was reserve champion as a yearling in one show and won everything in sight in Jan this year at a show. And he won both in the amateur and profession handler classes! |
