She is retiring from Open classes yes...but we are carrying on with Veteran and Dressage....plus, why do you think I am known as Madmare?!?!
I won't smile....I've cracked my front tooth, and if I do, I'll break every camera on the shwoground!!!!!! (courtesy of Criystal stopping dead at a jump!) I will grin though! And you will hear me laughing!

Upping....any more ideas for bling wil be appreciated!!! (though not doing the LED lights round my show jacket collar...think thats a wee bit too much!)

Best of luck Madmare!!! You are definitly going to stand out in the crowd with your bling. Perhaps someone should put a warning in the schedule telling people to wear their sunglasses for that class so that they aren't blinded by the bling! [;D]
How about a big flashing "dollar sign $ " necklace to finish off the whole look!? LOL!

Not quite hun....Was thinking of flashng neon sign, as wel as the fairy wings, tiara, and sparkly wand whip....but then realised I might get a tad unbalanced round the corners!!!!!
Do have a doody whip for the in hand though..my YO got it me last Xmas, and it has a multi coloured swirly iridescent handle....really cool! Plus I will be wearing my black jeans with either the embroidery on them or the Rhinestones...depends on which ones I take with me..more like to be the embroidered ones as I have rhinestones on my shirt!

Don't know if you use them but have just spotted on ebay some rather blingtastic crystal encrusted spurs - you can also buy bits now with crystals on the side and they have them in a range of colours!!!!
Bring on the bling

Have just informed poor Crystal of what her mummy is plotting and she says 'mummy if you do that then I'm not setting a hoof inside any showring'

I know...depends if I can afford them before I go down to Championships....they do stirrups with crystals in them as well!!!!

Hi Em - we're going to be rather more sedate than you!!!! Lol - may treat my daughter to a crystal studded tie to go with her browband. Have seen the stirrups - to die for - really tempted by the pink ones - probably be able to get away with them for dressage - not quite as strict! 
You'll have to get a jewel for your front tooth and when you smile you'll also be bling!!

I must admt I am rather tempted by the ties....they are rather nice!
I'm in the first ridden class of the day, and the last ridden class and in hand class of the day!
Tasiah...only doing this as I am laid up with a dodgy knee at the mo..so need to keep my motivation up then I will be back for Championships, pus, I am sooo excited, and nervous.....always get like this before shows! (welcome to AL as well)

Kate hun..I have a pic somewhere of us dressed up as the present under the Xmas tree...complete with mini tree on my hat, and fairy lights!!!! Did it one Xmas fun show....got us 3rd place!!!!

Sarah...I wish I could affrd a Bates Saddle hun....but I'd have to win the lottery first!!! Those PURPLE stirrups look fabby though.........I have this mania about the colour Purple.....the more I can get the better! Did have some purple joddies, but I killed them!!!!!!!!!!!

| the yard owners daughter went to a big BSJA thing the other week and her dad and the farrier created a set of pink horse shoes for her pony! I didn't see them but they were suposed to be fab. And wuld match her pink hat, saddle cloth, jacket trim, bridle parts etc..!!! |

I've got stirrup irons that have crystal stones all down the edge of them! They really catch the light well. I also seem to remember an advert in H&H last year on the run up to christmas from Flair who had produced a wow saddle covered in rhinestones...........it was very over the top, but definitely had the WOW factor!! Might be a bit expensive though?!
I can't wait to see your picces Emma, I bet Crystal looks stunning at the end of it all. I'm a real glittery girl so will have a look at some of the websites I know of that do lots of bling and come back with some suggeestions!
Have you thought about glittery hoof oil too?! |
