We recently purchased CAS Kazurai from Susan at Cawthorne Arabians & will always be gratefull to her for allowing us the privilege of owning this VERY special mare. When she was sold from Round Oak Arabians in early 2004, she was in foal to OM EL Mariek. I understand she delivered a healthy bay colt, whilst she was living over in Co. Down, Northen Ireland. Can anyone tell me anything about this youngster? I have no details on his name/d.o.b. I did write to the then owners, but got no response.
Many years experience owning & riding my own horses. Fell in love with Arabians at 11 years old when given a ride on "Trevallion", a 3/4 bred who was a livery where I worked as a stablehand. I have never forgotten that ride, Thank You Yvonne- should you ever read this!I now have 2 beautiful purebreds.
congratulations on Cas Kazurai, can't help with the foal she had, but we also have a Shogun daughter, I think the same age, and feel so guilty that she did not have the ridden carer of her half sister. The Shogun girls can certainly perform wehn asked.
Vol XX: colt was called Aragon and breeder Mrs Arlene Ryan. Nice to know Kazurai is back on this side of the Irish Sea - I remember her well from being successful in-hand as a youngster and throughout her ridden career.

Thanks to all who responded to my enquiry about Kazurai's foal. Now I have the foal's name I hope I may one day get to see him. Kaz is off to a local show this weekend. Her first with us, & possibly her first since she left Round Oak. Am hoping to get some photo's In Hand & Ridden, & will post some if they are o.k.!
