They are all lovely Di. I do just love Masadi - maybe he'll prove a filly sire for you.
Had you heard that Melissa's sister Moet is up for sale? I assume it is her that Wendy and Mike Carr are advertising in - "14 year old Straight Crabbet broodmare". Hopefully she'll go to a Crabbet enthusiast and breed some more beautiful Crabbet babies to continue your lines. Alexia |

The new baby is getting stronger by the day and so cheeky. Quite the opposite from the Tobago foal who is very independent but beginning to realise that I am not dangerous and he can come and touch me. Will take some more pics of Magician in a week's time but he is definitely gangly and going to be taller than his dam. |

I'm sure Magician will be a good size if Magic is to go byHe's having another growth spert at the moment! There's not alot in it between Flame and Magic now so I'm very happy as I thought he might have been small like Cantata. They must get their height from their grandparents/great grandparents There are less than 30 Entire 100% Crabbet males in the UK(including the colts!). So Di you are doing an important job in raising that number!
Lovely photos x

They all look super Di - and your young stallion is very pretty; I love his blingy markings!
I love the pic of the Tobago-baby trying his best to get that Thelwell pony to play with him, or at least look at him, while the Thelwell pony studiously ignores him! We have a very similar Thelwelly Shetland gelding at Cliveden, called Applejack: Tobago is besotted with this pony and always turning himself inside-out trying to get his attention, but it is a sad case of unrequited love, as Applejack regards Tobago as a noisy nuisance and pays no attention to him. |

Kate, It sounds as if both sire and son are having difficulty learning how to make friends with a Mini. Harriet is a Gucci bred and she has been absolutely great to keep the foals company whilst we cover their dams; and to keep them company when weaned from their dams. She also travels with the youngsters for their first time; in fact I don't know what we would do without her now. She also teaches them manners and they get kicked in the front legs if they get too cheeky. Mobago has already learnt just how close he can get for comfort but she will run around the field with him and play when she feels like it. It is great to watch them. He can't wait now until Magician is old enough to play with him. It is a shame that there is a gap of 6 weeks between them at the moment but it won't be long before they are causing havoc together. |

Hi Ash, Yes, that stallion was Ruperfields Tip Top. I forgot he used to do that. He is the sire of Harriet's two boys, Master Henry and Master Hero. Hero is now with another A Liner, Claire - Cakes. She has been having fun trying to sort out his bad habits and she is winning. Your right time does fly by - I believe Harriet may be 15 years old now. |
