Congratulations! My 100% Crabbet fily was a little slow to feed but has made up for it since! (Little guzzler is still on mum!)

Congratulations to all at Templar's. I am so pleased that you got a filly foal, do you think she will go grey? Is this the first pure bred filly you have had for a while? Would love to come down and see her later in the summer if poss, Rachelle. Say hello to Cresh from Dizzy and me. Love to all, Lesley |

Thank you all for your lovely comments.
Re our foals - we've had 3 pure breds this year:
Boots was born in January. She looks more like a baby Suffolk Punch than an Arab. She's Templars Moonsong (Last Crescendo [Imad x Carillion] x MWA Majidah Bint Mamoona [Gold Cristal x Mamoona]. She's a thumping great filly and definitely one for the performance world rather than the show ring!!! She's 100% Old English 99% Crabbet
Malcolm was born in March. If you remember his mum rejected him and he's been hand reared. He's Egyptian x Spanish and I still can't believe he's here. He is so unlike anything we've ever bred. Definitely show material (but then performance later...). He's by MWA Madkour out of Amira Obeyd. He's the most unusual colour - to say brown is wrong, he's like dark chocolate. He and Boots are best friends and share a stable and cuddle up to one another to sleep.
And last but not least, little Shrimp (sorry - that's what the vet called her and it's stuck). 100% Crabbet.
We're not competing this weekend so I'llk try and get photos of them all if the weather holds.
Shrimp is much stronger now but she did need a plasma transfusion and lots of nasty antibiotic jabs. Bless her, she still comes for cuddles even when we're waving a syringe and needle at her!!
Cresh is fine and still as chilled as ever.
Harley is starting his event training and so far has competed at Trailblazers show jumping and dressage and done a BHS Hunter Trial competition. He's really enjoying himself. If all goes well, he'll spend the winter doing the indoor circuit and affiliate next year with British Eventing. That will be something - a pure bred 99.9% Crabbet stallion out eventing!! Whoopee - something for the babies to aspire to |

Fee - did the pig called Shrimp have a best friend who was a sheep called Gabriel?? We've got that book too, it was (is) one of Evie's favourites! |

Wow! How bizarre, you've got the whole book happening! Isn't it just a great story When I heard you calling her Shrimp I hoped you'd keep the name as I thought it was so apt with her being a little poorly and needing the heat.
I hope you've got her snuggled up in Gabriel's wool now

Well, Little Shrimp has made it through her first week and she's getting stronger and stronger (and prettier and prettier). She's developing into quite a little madam - not surprising given the number of injections she's had to have.
Anyway - here she is and we think she's one of the prettiest 100%ers we've ever seen (but then again, we would - wouldn't we??)
