Mine had three which had to be removed before she was backed! Some have none; so I guess it depends on the individual horse and whether they have evolved enough not to have any at all...

Any horse can get up to four, but quite often only the top two come through in many, regardless of gender.

My 2 fillies who are 2 have their's and my vet has suggested removal before i bit them, what do you think??

depends if they will be in the way of the bit or not

many seem to have no problems...others do, however it is easy to get them removed

I had to have my mares removed when I got her (she was six years old) before I bitted her and started to do any work.

They had grown that big they were nearly the size of her molars. The vet did say they were the biggest he'd ever seen.
