Hello everyone! I am new here, and just wanted to introduce myself! I have a small stud of sporthorse type mares, that I show at county level, mainly in hunter and sporthorse classes. I also take some of my youngsters out showing as well, when time (and space on the lorry) allows, lol!
This year two of my mares were put in foal to H Tobago. Sadly, one of these foals was stillborn (I think Kate has already filled you in on this) but the other is thriving, and has done very well at county showing.
Ayemkay Evin Star, and her foal Ayemkay Emae, have won at numerous shows this year, in both hunter and sporthorse classes. Emae has received some very complimentary remarks from judges, which has really boosted the Arab as a sporthorse sire in their eyes.
Anyway, enough rambling on - here are a few pictures of Emae and her mummy (I think Kate has already shown you most of these, so I wont add too many!)

Thank you everyone - I can't believe how open minded the hunter judges have been, and most have known instantly that she is PBA.
I took them to the Royal Show last week, and whilst I was disappointed with the mare's placing in the hunter class, Emae was pulled in third out of the foals. However, the judge and I were chatting in the collecting ring after the class, and he did actually say "if I had known she was by an Arab she would not have been placed". I guess you always get one!
Unfortunately though little Emae is going to be sold, I just can't afford to keep any more youngsters! I am hoping whoever buys her will let me produce her for them, as she has already been seen by some top producers/judges and been picked out as a potential cuddy finalist. I am considering just selling a share in her, although not sure on the logisitcs of that...
Just about to put the ad on AL now :( |

Hi Zoe and welcome to AL. I have admired your filly in the pics that Kate has posted, Emae is a real star, and is also being a wonderful ambassador for arabian breeding.
Looking forward to hearing more from you and your lovely horses.

Welcome, hope you have hours of fun on here as we all do. I am a Tobago fan and your filly is just super, such a shame you have to sell her, wish I had the room and the money. Ah well I can dream. |
