Hotspur Arabians are delighted to announce the new arrival of a lovely bay possibly grey, colt out of Shasonata (US) (JK Amadeus x Shazamilia) and by Keyser Soze (Marwan al Shaqab x Magic Star by El Shaklan). Born outside at 11am yesterday, unfortunately 'Buster' had a hernia which could not be manipulated back in so had to be rushed to the vet this morning for an operation. We have just had word from the vet that everything has gone well and he is back with mum recoveringMassive thanks go to all at Hird & Partners Vets and to Dean Ingham for all his help and advice...........

Hi Danny and Dawn!! Congratulations! Hope the little fella makes a speedy recovery! We are over the moon with our little 'Soze'!! Oliver aka[Olly] is a lovely little fella, very bright and self assured, chats with his Stepdad, Uncle Gwiddy and marches up our scary driveway in front of his Mum, as if he owns the place! Toffee has been absolutely perfect, despite a tough delivery and several days of vet attention, she is a darling and we love them both very much! She is a superstar too!PS You know we love Shahsonata, half sister to the 'infamous' Amby, our unanimous gelding and liberty Champion at the UKIAHS!! good luck with them both! |

Hope he makes a quick recovery.
Hirds are great - service and care was second to none when my kamikaze boy cut his foot and had to go to Shelf Horspital.
Dangerous place though - I went in with one furry person (horse), and I came away with 3 - (two furry kittens to be collected later!). |

Congratulations - pleased to hear your little chap Buster is recovering well, what a pain that the hernia wouldn't go back, but at least it's OK now I've noticed when reading various posts how many people thank Dean Ingham for his help and advice, what a superstar !!! I watched him at The Midland Festival last week and I think he was the fastest runner in the ring - Well Done Deano

Hi Just caught up with this post as its been a hectic few days. Buster is a very smart boy and true to his family heritage. I saw him at a few hours old and remarked on his lovely head, neck and topline. His mum was very protective but he came right up to me to say hello and for a cuddle. Looking forward to seeing him again on Wednesday. Ah Bless. Elaine, i will pay you the bribe later. I think the self hypnosis, accupuncture and the drugs are keeping my old legs going like bees wings still (joke) and hope to be still running as fast in another 10 years. |
