Five news has done a number of undercover investigations at 'RSPCA Freedom foods' approved chicken farms. The results are shocking and appalling. Another reason why unless you have visited the farm never trust that your 'free range' food is actually that!

OMG who do we actually TRUST when trying to purchase chicken at the butchers/supermarkets. Maybe I should rear them at home - at least I know how they have been fed, looked after.
SO VERY SAD - never been a fan of the RSPCA |

The RSPCA have'nt acted on several calls i have made to them reporting neglected animals. I am a postwoman and so i see horrible things in peoples gardens ect. One poor dog died, i wish i had done something for him myself
Goldenmane, havent seen it, are they going all ethical now Do you remember what the actor who used to play Ronald McDonald in the adverts in the 80's said in his public apology after quitting his job? "I brainwashed children into doing wrong. I want to say sorry to children everywhere for selling out to concerns who make millions by murdering animals" That must have been so bad for them at the time!

I've stopped buying supermarket chicken and eggs, we no longer eat these chickens and I keep a few hens running about at home for eggs. It's the only thing to do. |

I was really shocked that Macdonalds had a huge stand at The Highland Show, claiming that all there eggs were free range, all there beef was uk produced and all there chicken was free range Of course I do not believe a word of it,but do wonder how they can get away with it? Im glad that I am a vegetarian! |
