Not hooked on it but do enjoy watching it. Well apart from the temper tantrums and surly expressions of some of the players, the stupid post match questions the commentators ask (already mentioned elsewhere) and the grunting - other than that, I quite enjoy it !! |

I do love a bit of wimbledon!! a family tradition. when my mum was young my nan would just leave salad bits on the side for the kids to make their own dinners for 2 weeks!! have to say i am not that bad but will happily spend the afternoon glued if allowed!! |

My parents met on a tennis court and I've played tennis from being little. My late father was a Wimbledon umpire and used to go every year. I often went too. Our daughters also started from being little and all three of us play matches every week for our club. So YES I'm hooked on Wimbledon!!! Watching Andy Murray now ... and hoping he's going to get through ... |

My Grandad we lost just before christmas at 93.. all his years as a farmer he worked to a timescale and had a set breackfast lunch tea and supper But when it was wimbledon the only sport he ever followed his labourers did not see him from the start to the end.. Sadly this is the first year that he would have missed it..

Now that WOULD be telling ! seriously, not into spectator sports.....except maybe watching OH in triathalons....or olympic standard diving.... But not into watching sport on TV....and I am eternally grateful that the 4 males in this household are not into TV sport at all.....my sister has footie mad OH and sons and it would drive me insane. ....so the fact that I am offered centre court tickets, front row, every year will not be well recieved then?....my friend is/was Britains no 1 ( No 3in the world) wheelchair tennis player and as an olympian she has tickets sent every year....one for her and one for a "carer" ...HA! as if she needed a carer !but I never go, and even she has not gone this year as she has twin boys aged 2y, and she is too tired to go!! ah well.....priorities change for all of us hope you all enjoy watching it |

Whilst I'm not the world's biggest tennis fan, I'm full of admiration for anyone who has the skill, drive and dedication to become the best they can be in their chosen sport, and to follow their dream. It's why you'll find me glued to the Olypmics (despite abhoring some of China's human rights ethics.....) and cheering all of our boys & girls on (when I'm not out doing my own bit to follow my dream that is....)
So well done Andy, and GOOD LUCK for the rest of the tournament. |

Thought Andy Murray fought back brilliantly yesterday and seemed to actually excel on the pressure towards the end. Some of it was pretty traumatic to watch but was a great match - can't wait for the next one |
