My 13yo daughter Amber has not stopped beaming since she came home from Salperton Horse Trials yesterday  . She was invited by Tam's owner Mary Guinness to accompany her to watch this incredible horse compete at Salperton in preparation for the Olympics in Beijing. Not only did she get to watch him but also handle him, put up his jumps in the practise rings and she also collected his rosette and prize money at the end of the day
Amber got to meet many of the top eventers and even spent time sitting on William Fox Pitt's horse box chatting!
Huge thanks to Mary for being so kind and gracious. It's a day Amber will never forget for the rest of her life.
The only down side is that now she wants a new horse to take eventing

That's fantastic!!! I've not seen him "in the flesh" since he won BNatCh at Malvern - hard to believe he would go on to achieve all he has!!
PS Toy Town "only" cost £24,000 ... so get saving!!! |

Boy time flys she was a little girl when I last saw Amber, good for her, so lovely to have great memories, is she competing her pony this year?
