We love burmese cats, so after one of our very loved cats died, we decided to get 2 more. Poor 'Baby' (cream burmese) is not impressed at present
The new babies are settling in very well-even going shopping! We decided to call them 'Coco Bean' and 'Sweet Pea'-so the kids have decided to nick name them Pea and Bean So naughty These cats appear to eat anything They tried to nick my french bread and they stole Jaffa Cakes'. I have never had this problem before!!! I thought cats ate meat!!! I hope you enjoy the pictures!

I think I've jumped in before your pictures have loaded!
I like Burmese cats, very pretty.....so why do I have 13 assorted barn cats? (half of them long haired)
Love the names too, ours don't have names, just descriptions My Vet thinks I am dreadful when I go in and say "Ginger, Stripey, Floppy, Fluffy and some Fuzzballs!" Still rubs her hands at the neutering costs though.

Edible kitties I bred Burmese for 20 years and just love them. Where did you get them? I don't have any now, stopped breeding a long time ago and my oldies have gone over the rainbow bridge. Can't have any due to our road and Whippets! Murderous little devils!! I am sooo envious of all the cuddles and fun you are going to have. Delicious I really wish you joy with them. |

Ooooh, they're gorgeous. Our neighbours have a Burmese Blue and I finally met him for the first time on Saturday - he's beautiful. He met one of our three who promptly bopped him on the head - nice welcome !! Think you'll have lots of fun with them ! |

ooh lovely! I am looking into rehoming a burmese....what are their personalities like? Trouble is I have a cockatiel and am trying to figure out if the cat could be trained to ignore him-he's pretty noisy.... |

Emmalouise, I wish you luck with that Burmese can be very single minded about stuff like cockatiels. A friend of mine who has Siamese and a parrot says that her cats are bamboozled because the bird tells them off. They can't get their heads around the fact that it talks! Having had both I feel that the Burmese would say "If it's going to give me lip it's better off as lunch!" Huge amounts of Good Luck!! |

Burmese are the 'dogs' of the cat world, so attached to people!!!! When my children were small and unwell, the cats would not leave their sides. They love cuddles[:D, attention and will tell you excactly what they want and when The cat that died recently LOVED children. She used to sit on the garden wall, waiting for school to finish and then get cuddles from all the children coming home My cats are also very bossy, telling the dog what to do. I think if the parrot does not behave it will definetely end up as dinner! I got the cats from a lady called Joyce Dell, she has been breeding for lots of years and is a genetic advisor for the Burmese Cat Club. |

Joyce is a lovely lady. I had several cats that came down from her breeding lines. You couldn't have gone to a better person. Good luck with them and keep us up to date with their antics please. I just love that little tortie batting the fluffy toy. OOOH edible. |

Some people are like a Slinky ... not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you shove them down the stairs.

I breed Bengals derived from wild asian leopard cats crossed to domestics. The Iams advert at the moment has a super example. Will try and get some pics up from photobucket just too tired at the mo. |
