our arab took the mickey out of me. when we bought him we were told he was show trained by silverdale. we were madeup but try has hard as we could he would not stand like you have them do at shows. this year while messing about with him. my daughter vicky was showing me how some people put bits of plastic stirps on the end of a schooling whip and guess what spirit looks at the whip and stands to four square.with a big smile on his face as if to say o is that what you want now all we have to do is say up and hes like a proforming monkey he always gets a tibit after .but why he would not stand for us last year we will never know
ha ha maaybe he just needed reminding or you were asking slightly differently to how he was trained then when you did it with a show whip (so to speak) it clicked!
