I am trying to help a friend find a horse. She is quite particular in her requirements but has a VERY healthy budget.
She after an Arab cross with something like an ID or a Hunter type or possibly a TB, something substantial.
It MUST be a mare, 6 - 8yrs old.
Good all respects and a minimum of 16.2hh
Now she up to £12k to spend but I just can't find ANYTHING that even closely matches.
Can anyone suggest anything to help the search, she would rather wait than not get what she is after....

Registered 16.2hh 7-year-old home bred eye-catching mare by Pizaz Amedeaus out of Hanoverian mare.
Placed every time out at County and Local level, in Hand and Ridden.
Competed at Dressage, Show Jumping and X-Country.
Lovely forward going paces, bold scopey jump over x county and coloured fences.
Has been professionally schooled and as a youngster had Pirelli training.
Please don’t be put off being a chestnut mare as she is really nice person and not at all mareish.
100% genuine in all respects.
This lovely mare would make a superb competition horse.
Sale to experienced competition home only, regrettably and very sadly for sale due to lack of time.

standing out to many, she has no rider at present

They sound lovely Vera but are they half Arab? This is where I am coming up against a brick wall..... |

| It is a difficult cross to find, could help with everything except size and sex. (freind has one for sale but its a gelding and only 14.3) |

I read this as arab cross with ID etc
or
TB, crossed with ID etc
All of the above are TB or TB cross

Ah I see - no its arab crossed with..........
The trouble is she has fallen in love with my filly, dam was ArabxID and sire is Anglo..... |

Well, if she really is prepared to wait we can wait and see what Vlacq Tathar (Hipu Who (TB) X Hunter) produces by Vlacq Khazad. They make 16.2hh and are Eventing, SJ, Driving etc etc... but she won't foal until June!!! 
Now if I could just make Aspen a few yrs older and change sex he'd be perfect!!!
Horsehunting is weirdly more difficult when you know eactly what you want! Good luck though |

| It might be worth asking Vlacq to try and track down her other offspring that are older, like Laura / Sue say, they are performers. Also in North Wales there are probably some Arioso offspring around, his Anglo son beat him at eventing but they beat a field of the 'regular' eventer types over a really fearsome X country course. |

| Didn't Suyen (member of AL) have a cracking filly by her Arab stallion ex a TB mare, it was a while ago but she may still have her or have another??? |

| I think Suyen may still have her. She will definately make 16.2hh as I have her sister at that height. She may be too fine though.....and she is only 2 or 3..... |

| She could buy my filly....... mum (my mare) full arab, dad Country Top Gun (tb/id), she is a coloured but she will only make 15'2 ............... only other snag she is 2 in August, still a long way off riding age lol |
