Hiya, Thought i would post on here as i bet alot of you will remember savannah , i had to sell her last summer as at the time i was broke and couldnt afford them both very well but sadly here owner has had to go in for an operation which will take a while to heal so i was more than happy to let savvy come back here for the summer !!
Its so nice having her back , have taken her out for few hacks now , got her feet done etc going to be a great summer - its funny as she just walked straight back in the field like she had never left and im sure Indi remembers her as indi hates everyone but seems fine with savvy - going to be so sad when shes goes again but i couldnt ask for a nicer home she has looked after her so well, has anyone else had a horse they have sold come back/ back for few weeks? Im loving it.

Aaahhh!!! Thats lovely, and so nice when they settle back into their old home. I bet Savvy is loving every minute!!!
I had a lovely visit from a mare that I'd bred, 'Cherry'. Her owner was going on holiday and didn't trust the livery owners to look after her properly whilst she was away. So 'Cherry' came back for just over 2 weeks last year. It was as if Cherry had never been away, she settled in really well.
I only sold Cherry because I felt she was destined to be a riding horse and she would be much happier on a 'one to one' basis with her owner. She bred a lovely filly for me, but really wasn't happy being a mum, she was much too active!!! So she is owned by a lovely lady who does pleasure rides, western, jumping, etc. Cherry is in her element, but she did enjoy her 2 week holiday, especially when flirting with the stallion!!!

I haven't sold any yet, just keep collecting, but have had opportunities to visit horses that have been in my care in the past. Luckily most seem to go and live in the Pyrennes or Bordeaux so it makes a nice holiday. Currently though I have back with me a 3 year old new forest who lived in my pub field for a while and purebred arab stallion Jubilee Black Prince(see Blacklord Caesero thread)
