and the girl done good 
Well, they did it - their first PreNovice!!! And they got 11th out of 50 
I know to some people, they'll think 11th is not a good result but in the eventing world, you aim to be in the top 20 and for a first timer at a PreNov to get just outside the ribbons (0.2 points below 10th), it's an amazing feat.
It's been a baking hot 2 days - dressage yesterday and show jumping and cross country today. The ground baked rock hard and the course was lovely - technical and big but a real challenge. Step up with pallisade and brush (lot of others ran out here), drop log into water, open ditch with water, pimple and a dreaded corner.
Here they are at the corner - little monkey told me she was going to do the alternative and miss the corner but she made an executive decision and went the direct route.......
The show jumping was a full up 1.10m track and we all gulped when we saw it. Taz literally sprouted wings. Naughty Evie was so shocked to be clearing them that she's committed the ultimate sin - looking down!!
And let's not forget the new part bred - Nancy. They got a very respectable 16th in their section. It was a particularly hard section because 12 people were top event riders (Badminton level people) bringing on their baby horses so it was amazing that a 13 year old, first timer on a 14'2" even got a look in.
Here they are having just gone over the corner..
We're hot, exhausted and happy. God they were good!!

Well done - who says Arabs can't jump and are just a pretty face - JUST GOES TO PROVE ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS.

I know it's usually my mum that posts on AL, but I really need to thank you all for your support. I'm having so much fun with Taz, and it really gives me something to jump for knowing that there are people out there that are cheering for me and my little flying arabs!!!!!

| Fantastic, what superstars. Not into jumping myself ( to scary) but I have mates who event and show jump, thay call my Arabs but thay soon shut up when I told them about Team Taz and co. BLOODY WELL DONE. |
