Well done Sue and Amie! Wish I'd gone over to watch now but it was such a lovely hacking out kind of a day.. Spider is just too full of himself this month for showing! Well done too the lady who owns True Shantu and came second in the novice ridden if you are reading - we met at Plumpton. |

Thanks Robyn, we had a very good day and a result we didn't expect and alway happy to take what ever comes our way in regards to results, needless to say we are over the moon with this one. The funny thing is she still has not moved her best in the show ring, she certainly has her old mans movement. |

There were lots of lovely horses on Sunday and what a great day for it I was thrilled by my 2 boys results but the highlight of my day was my homebred yearling colt, who's never been anywhere, popping straight on the lorry and travelling brilliantly for the hour and a half journey both ways - what a star The actual show was a bit more exciting as on his first ever outing off our yard he suddenly realised that there are more than 6 horses in the world!!! He was a bit vocal as a result and I also apologise to anyone who my naughty and noisy 'babysitter' gelding, Taher, deafened by screaming back at Hathek all through his own class |

Ah, thanks Pasha! Glad the excessive noise didn't put you off! He is a big boy - over 15.3hh - and a big show off!! He's not normally quite so badly behaved because I usually take him to shows on his own but with my colt calling outside it really wound him up and he's always a bit oversensitive and any excuse will do! I love him dearly though, having had him since a 2 year old and wouldn't change him for the world - so it probably doesn't help that he's a mummy's boy Thanks for your kind comment too Hollyhill - I really liked your gelding too and said so to Alethea (she's also kindly helped me out with my colt, Thanks Alethea) |
