I see the Seahg Summer Show is now on the website. Can anyone tell me why they have decided to have the inhand and ridden on separate days?? I would have liked to do the Crabbet class and a ridden class, but I'm not going there twice in one weekend and I would prefer not to have to rent a stable!
I know, think i might have to put Aurran in a stable and tent it the night, as i wanted to do the same as you Elizabeth, the Crabbet class and the ridden..... must save more pennies i think!!!
Your boys are related, surely they're up for sharing
There are a couple of shows that do this now, I guess it's the majority that only do one or the other, although personaly would like more encouragement for people to do both with their horses rather then have to chose.
Will have a look at the schedule now as might take Kara and Foalie out to this one.
Sadly this is becoming the norm and HoCoN are having to consider this. Stabling is so expensive that having to have only half the amount is a big temptation.
Add to this a lack of volunteers to help when a show is one day but who can help if it is over two days and still show their horses and I am sure you can see why shows take this decision
In an ideal worl eople should not have to chose but there are not that many people who enter both sections of the show.
