my mare is currently on loan but when i get her back in a few years time i want to breed one more foal from her. Her last foal for me was by eldor and was very pretty and correct! i want something special to keep as her future replacement! I want to show it then ride and compete possibly breed! I was going to use my narismma colt out of a fawor mare but decided to geld him for his benifit and although i do regret it often my mission now is to find a complementry stallion for my mare.
I am drawn to azteq and adawy at the moment but as its so early i would appreciate any ideas or comments on what would go well with her! I know she has quite a bit of spannish but not percentages of the rest of her pedigree.
she is http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/alula2
thanks in advance jacki

I'm guessing she was bred at Briery Stud? Why not have a look at the stallions standing there At the last open day there were some beautiful stallions on display. Kid in sweetie shop springs to mind |

Hi Jacki I've had a look at her on all breed and i'm guessing that maybe you would like some extra height also, i used to have a mare up until queit recently that had quite a bit of yours in. I would probably throw some russian into the mix or a bit of justice blood for a nice correct upright show'performance horse. But there is so many to choose from. Try asking egbert. |

H Tobagio is a fantastic stallion and I am sending my mare to him this year. Kate is a lovely person and i recommend contacting her for more info on him.
PS - he is the feature stallion at the moment and is very good looking! |

Azteq has the most super temperament, and passes it on to all his babies. We have a filly by him, Aatiqah, and she really is the sweetest natured horse we have ever had. Have a look at the write up on him on the stallions section on here. |

Georgiauk she was bred by andrew tong her dam is owned by mrs hedly i believe. Ill have a look at their site now thanks.
Kimzi yes she is quite small and very square which is another plus for the 2 stallions i mentioned as both are grandsons of crusader.
Hertsbabe have looked at h tobago and really like him but get a gut feeling he wont gell with my mare!
Rozy rider I would love to see the other pics you have of the kazra line although not bred at lodge farm my mare is very typical of their breeding i love greys too ijaaz looks lovely. the problem is i dont know how much english spanish eqiptian ect she has and although im quite good with polish pedegrees i bought her for my 18th as a 3 yr old from a freind who knew i loved her as a horse and had done since i first met her as a yearling.
Liv ive seen your filly i think in a pic (very pretty) and i do like the pics of his offspring. I have read his reveiw and his temprement sounds perfect as my mare can be very soppy but has a stubborn streak and hates in hand showing.
As both my horses are on loan for a few years ill be going to shows and opendays for fun and research this year. Come and say hi if you see me ill be the enormous pregnant woman with a 2 yr old and collie in tow! |

Jacki, thank you! She is very pretty and Hugh and Michelle tell me she is looking even more like her sire this year. She will be shown by Hugh this year so if you are about you are more than welcome to have a closer look at her and see what a sweet person she is! There is a pic of her on the review before we bought her so you will have seen it.
I too will be another (enormous by then) pregnant woman so we should bump into each other at some point!!!

Hi Jacki I have seen both of them in person at shows and both caught my eye as soon as i saw them and won my heart around, I have seen a couple of offspring from Azteq and they look lovely but havent seen anything from Adawy. Its a shame that Carmargue isnt still alive he was a lovely stallion. Este has started to do little jumps we came face to face with them out in tho woods i just rode him at them and he didnt even hesitate. He has got another show booked in for you to put in your diary hes doing in hand at heathfield may bank holiday Hannah |

What a gorgeous mare Kazra El Saghira is. Is her damline 100% Crabbet? Sorry to sound so dumb, but just wondered as Egyptian blood seems to work so well with Crabbet bloodlines.

(Slightly off topic, but Jacki I saw your boys dam Sfa Elysiah at Christmas. I think that they readvertised her recently. Not sure if she has sold yet. She was a lovely mare :D)
I like Adawy, though I have no knowledge of stallions at all. I just think he looks lovely! |

Miska yes ellie is lovely i didnt know she was for sale again where is she advertised id love to see some current pics of her! Anne I thought about charismma but that would cut out so much of estes pedigree i sort of want to find something completely different I considered narismma too but that knocks out estes mums side which i also love!(but then maybe i want este so im being really fussy) This is why ive started looking now!
I need to look at sashas boy and print off his pedigree. Im getting quite a collection! |

Go with your heart Jacki!!! But if you need someone to give you direction, pm Emma Maxwell, she owns the beautiful Adawy and she will be totally honest with you.
