There is a mare born 1995 called Djelteena with French Endurance results. If you google Djelteena the results will come up. |

might have a space in her name. DJEL TEENA and could the sire be DJAMEL 1985. sire Manganate/Mandore & full brother to Dormane.betting its of the Shks.breeding and if you look at progeny for DJAMEL, there are many of these horse in the French Endurance Results...interesting...will now check the Ascot Sales Cats for more on the sire. Did the mare come from the Midi Pirenees. Sue

I haven't got time to research WMF now but there seems to be a stallion called WMF Fad Midnite appearing in the pedigree of some stallions and other arabians in the USA. He is mentioned on this site; http://www.lunorarabians.com/lunor_stallions.html There are also quite a few WMF... horses on allbreed, There are also some ...WMF. I would think WMF is an abbreviation of a stud name possibly in America. |

The US Dam must be part of the Shks breeding plan, or was.I'll now add them to the allbreeds as I have found the breeding lines. DJELTEENA (No Space)1995,Bay Filly,AHSB Vol.XVIII.Reg.No.044897. You were right Karen she was sold at Ascot sale August 2005, Lot No.186,property of Darley Stud. I was there and I do remember her, she has a narrow stripe down her head and my nots say 'Very Nice'. The sale report stated she had done 3 x 40km & 1 x 60km endurance rides in France. WMF Velveteena (US): 5 wins(racing) I think all in the US and Michigan is mentioned. Both 2nd.Dam RAFFONS JADI (US) & 3rd.Dam JADI ARAFA (US) unraced. I wonder if Paul bought her there, I do have the catalogue marked so I know what she made. There is plenty of info on the sire avaiable and I see he's noted as World Champion at Kempton Park 1986. Hope that helps a bit. Will have a look at my photo's from that day just in case. Interesting Breeding including Tobruk. http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/index.php?query_type=horse&horse=DJELTEENA&g=5&cellpadding=0&small_font=1&l=
Karen Change you title to the correct spelling...Regards Sue PS. Sorry no pics of her from the sale. |
