he is a very nice boy and from same dam line as my colt's sire, but considering this was at a show not impressed by the antics, I would much rather see a colt with a powerful impressive trot down the length of the arena. And was his eye and muzzle make up not overdone? he doesn't need to be blacked up to see his fine features. Sorry to be a kill joy, but this would not attract in newbies and this is a world class colt! |

Lovely arabian, what a shame he did not show himself off. I have seen this boy move, and boy can he move.... this day he wanted to play, and give the judges a run for their money... Paul

I love Max, he is of the breeding I so admire, being double Carmargue, to me he is the perfect image of the desert bred type to. was he being naughty? or just full of the joys of being a boy |

What a lovely looking boy. But what a little devil! Reminds me of my gelding when he was a bit younger, actually he can still be like that! So hot on their toes! |

I think he is gorgeous, just my type. I loved his sire Espano Estopa too.
It's so frustrating when you know they can move really well and they just mess about in the ring like that, all you want them to do is just show everyone for literally a few seconds what they can do! Yet if they don't behave it can be the difference between winning or losing a class |

If anyone does have some up to date photos I would LOVE to see them!! |

I'd love to see an up-dated picture of Maximus as well, the picture you always see of him was taken when he was around two at least? Just a baby then, and now he's all grown up |

Tina I know which picture you mean and I too would love to see a more recent photo of him as I bet he has matured very well.
Purdeysue, I imagine he is pretty amazing doing his own thing in the field !

Hi
Thank you for all your nice comments on Maximus, the video is from Towerlands in 2006 when he was 3. He was teribble full off him self it was his first show for a year, not so much naughty as just a boisterous teenager who gets over excited when he is having fun the video missed the end of his show where he settled and showed some of his super trot, the judges saw it and awarded him 19.5 19.5 19 19.
His face was not blacked just clear grease ( maybe a little to much)the black skin is all natural.
The most recent photos of him are on our web site but they are from when he was 3. His rising 5 now so we really must try to get some new pictures this year.
Maximus loves visitors ( any excuse to show off ) so anyone that would like to see him is more than welcome to come for a visit.
