Bluehaven,
In light of the fact your appealing for help to home/transport the unwanted dogs of Ireland do you think the public attention you've gained from this thread via your harsh and opinionated comments would make any of "The Dog Loving A Liners" want to help you Not the best PR in the world for your Dublin strays or should I say waste, which is exactly what these unwanted greyhounds are - another casualty of mans bad habits ! |

My mistake,it's the post before Gossy's that is from the owner of a pup.Gossx knows what the aside is about-or maybe her friend hasn't told her quite the full story.Perhaps you aren't aware of another thread discussing last night's drinking habits.I'm on the same tipple,I thought she might be too.I'm sure the pups are delightful, all pups are,I'm delighted to hear that you are acting responsibly about the one you sold. They never should have been born but they were and the best has been made of it.I would never describe them as Georgia so sweetly calls the Irish dogs whose only mistake was to be born "WASTE"As to you Georgia,I'm not looking for help for ME.I don't give a merkin about ME,it's about the thousands of dogs killed here each year.I doubt you'd have the stomach for 10minutes of what l face every day.It tends to knock the polish off those of us who,to use your analogy, are the garbage collectors for the rest of you. What's your excuse? |

Bluehaven, Looks like the wine HAS taken it's toll. You are quite right that the post before Gossy's was from the owner of not one but 3 of the pups - Pat!
I would agree with Georgia in that in future you liaise with your PR department before preaching on this forum. Your outbursts tonight have only tarnished what is undoubtedly a very noble cause. Surely education is the key to aid these poor dog's plight, rather attacking perfectly responsible people whose situations you have summed up from approximatley 4 lines of text?
I find it unfair of you to use this thread to attempt to air your unrelated dirty laundry. I wouldn't think any of the involved parties wish to discuss the subject on a public forum.
Pat, they're lovely. Look forward to updated pictures as they mature |

Actually the post l mistook for Gossy's was from SueB and unless,as you would know if you did your homework, pomegranate juice has intoxicant properties unknown to science, any unpleasantness that has been read into my posts is purely my own naturally sweet self.If you weren't so quick with your mice and actually READ what l've been saying perhaps the message might have got through more clearly.I hope you're not as impatient or bad tempered with your Arabians as some of you are showing yourselves to be here.I'm still bemused by anyone on THIS forum referring to ANY animal as 'Waste' |

Right, I think thats enough.
This forum has the facility to private message now. Use It, PLEASE There is no excuse for the above, for whatever reasons, and whatever we beleive. What we feel strongly about, can become very 'heated' but there are ways of debating. The word 'Tact' spings to mind.
I know Pat to be a very good person, and I also know, and see the side of abandoned dogs, so I really sympathize with both parties.
This post is not 'getting' at anyone in particular, we just need to cool it.
I dont like to become 'heavy' as a moderator, but unfortunatly, recently, since christmas infact, there seems to be no alternative. Things have gone mad...
Thanks. |

Thank you all for the lovely comments about the puppies - I will post more piccies when they are a little older - don't know about the length of their coats as Gizmo had short hair as a puppy but it grew longer as he got older!!

Hi Pat, what delightful little pups. Unfortunately pedigree animals sometimes carry a hefty price tag and these little chaps are very often a lot hardier and more affordable.
Will be interesting to see how they turn out. Thanks for sharing your little brood.

Can't wait to see them 'in the flesh'.
To any ALiner that doesn't know Pat personally, these puppies will be looked after, infact spoilt so don't worry about them |

NatH, Pat is a lovely lady and doesnt need to justify herself to anyone, she is amongst friends here.I was always taught if you cant say anything nice then say nothing ( altho some people on forums make me deviate from this mantra) Certain people are just way too opinionated whilst they have an underlying personal agenda. I think they are gorgeous puppies and wish Pat the very best.

Nat and Helen, thanks for the comments!!!!!!!! but I must say after reading some of the other threads Bluehaven has put on about her dog rescuing that i must take my hat off to her with what she is doing. I still don't quite understand why she went off on one on this thread but I do admire what she is doing in Ireland to rescue dogs over there - i hate the thought of all those poor dogs that no one wants. If I hadn;t found homes for any of my puppies they would have had a home for life with me!!

I admire both Bluehaven and you Pat, if only all owners were as responsible as you then Bluehaven wouldn't have to put her life at risk to save those poor poor dogs .
