Should toast be dunked in tea or coffee?
Personally no, toast should be crispy not soggy UNLESS soggy through over indulgent of top quality british BUTTER.
Colleague of mine insists that toast tastes much better dunked.
What say you?

Urgggh, dunking toast, that's against the law. I know on the continent they're fond of dunking croissants in their coffee but dunking toast, nah, filthy habit. |

Toast recipe; bread, unsliced ( pref. home made ) then cut to depth of choice into toaster, and then coated with BUTTER the real stuff, not of this I-look-like-butter-just-cos-i'm-yellow-but-taste-nothing-like-it-rubbish. and it needs to eaten in peace, After the kids have left for school, or on return from a good ride. |

Toast dunked - definitely not , toast wrapped in tin foil and taken to work to enjoy later when its cold - fantastic |

Someone's been reading Five Minutes' Peace!!
Toast should be buttered hot, with a generous spreading of proper, salted Lurpak (not spreadable/lite) and eaten with or without Marmite. Tea is essential to the plot!
Dunking should be preserved (by law if necessary) to Custard Creams and Bourbons... |
