My foundation mare was Shireema by Shirar (Indian Magic x Sirella) x Sitara (Stargard x Tamri) bred by Marian Cooke when she was at Jervaux Abbey. We still have Shireema's great grand daughter here
Ash I remember Sahara - lovely mare and a favourite of Marians. |

Mandy - what a small world - I remember the Searcher and The Norseman well - we used The Searcher twice on Shireema - producing Zoebeida and Zoeleika - quite different, our offspring descend thru Zoeleika to Shireema, two full sisters Surita (sadly not with us anymore) and Sinnita.
Zoebeida can be seen on Mares of Honour page on AL - must try and find pics of Zoeleika and post them here. |

Here is the second photo of Taravao (Stargard-Tahiti) - 100% Crabbet. Your mare Theatre is also 100% Crabbet.

How lovely to see a picture of Taravao. My friend had two fillies by him and they were lovely. I remember meeting him when he was with Gandalf, Faro and one other who's name escapes me. |

Hi Lulu Do have any photos of Theatre you could post - would love to see a picture of her.
Tamila The other one of the four was Star Streaker (Silver Blue-Starshine). I have photos of them all. Faro (Fari II-Shadora)was my favourite - I had a fabulous 3/4 arab by him.
Has anyone else got any descendants of Taravao? Becky |

Hi Honeybunch, I was completely bowled over by Faro when I first saw him.. I did not notice his white until I had been watching him for at least 10 mins. That is a sign of a good horse I believe. |

Hi Becky
Have loads of picturesd of Thea, unfortunately not digital, if you want to see what she looks like find a picture of Rissla she looks the same except for the white front feet. Soon as we get digital will post photos.
