I remember when you first got him and I trotted him up the lane, well
he lifted me off my feet and I couldnt get my breath for about half hour

He's such a stunning boy Sal, even at 25 he looks like he's got another 25 left in him, he looks fabulous! He puts alot of the younger horses to shame, I will never forget the judges face at malvern 2006 when he stormed round with Rod, someone should have phsyically picked his chin up for him lol
Thanks for posting the pics, it's brought a huge smile to my face as I remember many a happy moment watching him in the ring

Back on line afte a puter glitch and how nice to see pics of one of my favourite boys
It was a special day when this lady had the final bid on Vodi at the Gucci sale - just think what his life might have been. To be owned by such a caring and genuine person is testament to his well being and achievements to date
At 25yrs Vodi knocks the socks off a lot of much younger stallions and you know he brings a big lump to my heart and throat whenever I see him stonking round the ring. It was such a shame not to see him at Towerlands in 2007 - his fan club REALLY missed him.
Sal I hope you will bring him out again for us all to worship the master once again - even if its locally
Hey its great to see a big stonking stallion in a headcollar and on a long loose lead - but of course he knows he's got his special mum on the end of it |

Thanks everyone for your kind comments about old spotty boy - or as Marilyn addresses photo's to him HRH lol - he is feeling very well at the moment , winter is usually a difficult time weight wise for him but this year we seem to have it licked !!!! and he's also feeling extremeley petulant due to the fact my 3 yr old colt Madani lives next door to him and Brenda C and Mr S's 3 yr old Psynzan is opposite , he doesn't bother until he comes out and then likes to strut up the yard as if to say - hmmmmmmmm I AM still the boss It's been a rough couple of weeks and I always have to have a moment with him just to ground myself and chill
Madani and Vode - complete with stable stains ...

It was great to see the pics of him. I think about him every day as I have just managed to re-purchase his grand-daughter by G.Navaroj (Vodolej/Nikarta) ex my lovely Crabbet Stallion El Sharluke's half-sister, Roselinda. She is called Marbon Medina and is bay and she can strut her stuff too - and I hope she will be out in the show ring next year if I can persuade someone to show her for me. Even my daughter cannot keep up with her. She snorts and blows too.

She sounds like a lot of fun, which shows are you thinking of taking her to? I'll keep my eyes peeled for her
As for finding someone to show her... if she goes like Vody I know just the man (HINT, he's tall & ginger and runs very fast ) |
