The above horse Sahira was given to a friend she is 19 and we were wondering can anyone give me any info on her she is really very pretty I don't have anymore details other then her name any age.
Are the mare grey, and is it your friend or the mare who is 19?? I found a mare born in Germany 1988 http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/sahira12 maybe she is imp to UK but there is no report of it. She has no recorded offspring.
Thanks thats her I recognized some crabbets do you know the percentage and could you tell me what you think of the pedigree is she a good general purpose mare.
YES!!!! I owned Sahira for a short time, before selling her to a lady up near Norwich, Sahira was owned for many years (i think it was about 12 or 13 years) by a lady near Whitland in West Wales (i can find contact details if you require them). I have often wondered what happened to her as i knew the lady i sold her too had parted with her. The biggest problem i had with Sahira was she got very anxious whan seperated from any of her friends, she also hadnt done alot of ridden work as she had been mainly used as a brood mare, i bought her when she was 15, & she was very very green then. She was also a nightmare to load. She was great with my kids & really friendly little mare. I think i may have a pic of her some where..
The lady I got my mare from has a mare who is now in her 20s who is a half sister to the mare you are looking for. She is called Shamouna and is on all breeds.
