Has anyone heard of or know who owns Lionheart? He is the only offspring from my mare - Crusaders Angel by Tdjanni (?spelling). He was sold in 2002 at the Ascot Sales but at some point he was owned by Sue & Beccy Broughton. I am not sure how old he would be - probably under 10 and is Bay.
Sorry I don't have any more info - I would just like to know what sort of temperament he has as I am going to be putting Angel in foal next year.
It is my Angel - I have since found out that the wrong info was put on Beccy's website. Paul Simmons (Sundance) has sent me some info from the Ascot sales catalogue which says the colt was called Lionheart (carrying on the Crusade theme) and was by Tidjani (? spelling again)and entered in the sale by the owner before Sue & Beccy.
Beccy showed me some photos of him when he was briefly with them and he was bay and about 3 or 4 so wouldn't have thought he would be grey now (I had a look at the website you posted.
Must have missed something, where does it mention he is grey? Yes, did miss the photos. If they got the correct names on it, he is definetly grey. Noticed Yvonne Croke's phone number is on the contact list (under Committee) so why don't you give her a ring? Perhaps Beccy showed you photos of the wrong horse and/or perhaps he was registered as a bay but then changed in to a grey.
Lionheart - that is the name that was on the Brightwells Sales Catalogue. According to Sundance it definitely gave Angel as the dam and he was sold by Angel's owner before Sue & Beccy - Hassan Bin Ali. That name is on some old Vet sheets as "owner" in Angel's BERA logbook.
Thanks for the offer of help Judith but I don't think Braveheart is the right one
