Would love to know more about Eldyr and his offspring, have been given loads of info from Barbara his breeder and thanks for breeding such a fun and gorgous looking horse. My boy is Bashir Dhakwan. Eldyr X Dahmask). Any info will be most welcome.

| In my last post i wrote it and explained it wrong, Barbara bred my gelding Bashir Dhakwan and not Eldyr. Whot i meant was she has given me loads of info on Eldyr. Thanks. |

Have you seen pictures of Eldyr? I have got some if you are interested. There is also a nice one on Allbreedspedigree.com.
I remember thinking Eldyr was fantastic when he was the horse advertising a cod liver oil product in the 1980's.
According to Allbreeds he has been a busy boy. There are 9 offspring listed for Bashir Stud, 4 for Bordesley palomino stud, 2 for Helperic who also breed palominos, and 15 for his stay at the famous Shulay Palomino stud, as well as loads by individual breeders.
Many of his palomino offspring have been British National Champions, including Shulay Faberge (who is the sire of my young mare)who was exported to Denmark. There are photos of Faberge and his offspring on the Rainbow Arabians website which is worth a look. Eldyr is also the sire of the current National Champion Jacala Morning Gold whose owner posts on here regularly and if you put his name in a search you will see some fab photos of him. Shulay Glint of Gold is at the Tylands Stud so you can see her pictures on there,
This is my mare Springtimer Fabulous (Jazz)taken last year.
Can you post us some photos of Dhakwan? Does he look anything like his dad?

| Lynn and Barry Boreham own Bashir Rafi whom we brought from Barbara as a 3 week old foal at foot when we bought the mare Razala. Bashir Rafi has won many championships as a gelding and they are very proud of their boy! Sally. |

| Thanks sally for reply,yes i have seen pics of Bashir rafi and he is stunning,i have also commented to lynn how nice her Rafi is. Eldyr is a stunning horse and passes on great traits to his offspring. |

Hi
We have Jacala Morning Gold who is by Eldyr. He is a palomino stallion and in everything he has done he has never let us down.
At present he is with Darren Cummins in Devon and to show that Palomino's are not just pretty pretty horses, he is jumping and cross countrying at the moment - so you can see he a good allround horse.
Wishing Darren all the best with him in 2008.

Thanks for posting the pics they are great - I hadn't seen the one on the left before.
Fairplay to Darren he has worked with Widget and is now reaping the rewards. I think he prefers outside to inside jumping though.
But it does go to show that these pretty ponies are used and not just kept as ornaments....

I took that one at the palomino show at Taunton just before he got the supreme !
Its a small world, Paul Exe tells me that Legend Moon Princess (full sister to Fantasy) is now at livery in Exeter at the Rollstone stud & is infoal to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart the palomino & white tobiano, i must pay her a visit as i`ve not seen her since Josie sold her to the Gribbens! |

| Hi,Katie, Congratulations on your mare being in foal to Eldyr,the thing i have noticed about an Eldyr stock is they can put their hoofs to anything,my boy is a clown in the stable and well entertain me for hours with his tricks,but then when i walk him up the drive he switches to a look at me horse. Good luck with the resulting foal. |
