Hi,
I am new to this forum but have been lurking for months and think its a great place.
i am looking for any pictures of my horses dam and have noticed that a few aliners have relatives.

Yes, Cassie Evans' (Cwrtai) old ladies are still going strong! She would love to hear from you I am sure - if you mail the North Wales group address with some message for her I will print and take to the auction on Sat - include your details and I am sure she will help you out!

Wow
Thanks to all who have replied. I didn't expect such a good response.I did speak to Cassie Evans a few years ago, but did not realise she still had Bright Marina.
Dan is by Relmo(TB) out of Bright Marina .

I had Elegant Gold who was out of Bright Marina. He was her first foal. I unfortunatly lost him earlier this year. She is a very beautiful horse and build like a brick s h i t house. Take a look at my web site and you'll see many offspring by Goldie. Sorry I don't have any pictures of her though.

Just looked at your website -Elegant Gold obviously passed on his stunning looks as well as his temperament to his stock. I am sorry for your loss but you should take some comfort from the lovely offspringhe has left behind as well as your memories.

Yes I miss him terribly. Such a loss especally over here. I'm hoping his son will be as good. We haven't used him yet but will next year.

chocoholic would love to see a pic of your horse - have met both parents!
my mare Dwyran Fair Ghazala, is by Kheiralla(se), out of Indian fairy (Sandstorm/Phedra)I bought her unbroken at 3 and she will be 14 next year
we visited cassie evans many times and keep in touch with a progress report at Christmas! and Bright Marina was one of the mares that stuck in my mind! I have some pics of her somewhere with a foal at foot, from 1997, and probably have some of Relmo too (and Kheiralla, and Sarry and loads of the youngsters....)

I dont have many good photos of Dan but will try and put something on this post over the weekend. I'd love to see some of your photos too if possible.
Dan has an wonderful temperament and I often wonder if this was inherited from his parents. I imagine that Relmo must have a nice character as I believe Mrs Evans only sold him a couple of years ago, and that she handled him hersslf. |

I look forward to seeing the pictures whenever you can do them. yes it would be interesting to know where her 1997 foal went. A fried of mine saw a bay Cwyrtai mare advertised in the North West not long after I bought Dan, but when she rang about it the mare had been sold. The mare would have been a 1997 foal but i dont know how she was bred.

Glad Cassie was pleased. It must be as good for the breeeder to know where their foals went as it is for the owners to find their full history. Yes he is much loved-my OH sometimes gets a bit jealous but is brill on the whole |
