Firstly, Jojazzyb congratulations on your purchase!
Secondly, Suzanna that is a rather uncalled for comment!! Ive lived in Ceredigion for the past 20years & while there are the few that sell through the sales a majority of the good breeders round here sell to private homes or take them to the cob sales, whilst still a sale it is in a league of its own. Infact most breeders would rather take less & sell privatley than put there foals through a sale!
I also think if you had taken the time to walk around the pens you would have found most of them fit to bursting with either Shetlands or Coloureds, the Shetlands having come down from the Shetland Isles, as they do every year & the coloureds as per usual up from the Valleys, there was a token offering of Welshies at this sale.
As to the meatmen in white coats, if only they were, ive been going a long time & still struggle to spot them. On a brighter note we took two home from there Thursday & they have both got good long term homes!

| once again thank you soo much for all your lovely comments, i have never felt so welcome anywhere in my life!! Arri is doing great, i have been riding him today. He already comes galloping to you when you go to call him in from the field and neighs when you speak to him bless him! I can't believe he ended up where he did, he is so special. Nikki, i am from near cardiff just off junction 34, maybe we can get together for a ride eventually. How nice that his dad is known as Arri too, thanks for that nedds71, and your horses look gorgeous, i think you are near me too. What a lovely way to make new friends |

and are you up lower stocklands/used to be?
so nosey aren't i, but i'm sure i can remember a write up somewhere!
It would be a dream to go riding, but i can't for sometime due to stepping on a nail. Although we have super hacking by me(castle coch-wenault-caerphilly mountain)

| hi guys, yes nikki i did have the black anglo, pinnerwood blackjack, i sold him to matt ryans wife because she offered me more money than i could afford to turn down but i have regretted it every day since and that was more than 5 years ago. i would never do it again for all the money in the world. im not at stocklands anymore, im at llwyn milwas in rhiwsaeson, don't know if you know it ? sorry to hear about the nail hope you are better soon. thanks for the invite becky, will take you up in that sometime |
