Gilly (with a hard 'G') gets called Silly, Fruit Loop, Nutter, Sweet Heart or Sexy! Or his real name Gaymar if I'm really annoyed.
Rhuiss (mini Shetland) gets called Trouble, Tank, Fatso, RuRu, Boo Pig or Fluffball. Or all kinds of swear words.
Shambles (mini Shetland) gets called Scruff, Sweetie-Pie or Fur-ball. OH also calls him Stupid but I think that's harsh.
They're probably all a bit confused |

My friend Gill has a lovely Arab mare called Manic Moment, stable name Minky, Glenna and I call her Manky, as when she was younger she was a bit of a s**t, she's grown up now and is really loving, and not at all "Manky", but the name has stuck. Minkys mother is Sweet Alliance, and when Gill first got her she didn't have a stable name (came from big stud where she was just a number), we were unsure what to call her. Everyone said how sweet she was, so she became Sweetness, which she is, she's the most gentle, loving horse you could wish for, who has at some point in her life been badly handled. I used to have a 12-2hh jumping/gymkana pony called Randy Brandy, cos she was a real little hussy. My first Welsh sec D was called Our Busker, but was better know as Ark Royal, as her bottom was so big we reckoned you could land a jump jet on it. She was also know as Buffer Lump. My endurance mare is Karanszia, Mia when she's good or evil bitch from hell when she's not. |
