Bia would you mind looking at % of my mare? http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/bint+bint+rezah, most of my horses are heavily bred to The Shah and laterly crossed with SE, I would like to breed this mare to a crabbet or english stallion, thanks Mandy.

Hi Mandy, According to All breeds The Shah was 21.87% Crabbet, and I think that might well be true. He goes back to Kazmeen who was bred at Crabbet. There is some Mikeno and Algol in her pedigree, your mares that is, and they were not 100% Crabbet, but I think your mare is high % Crabbet. But Bia is the one who figured out how to count it, I can not seem to do it right. Monqiue |

Hi Lila, yes I can't seem to do the % right either, she is by far my most english mare and looks it, large chestnut with blaze and smallish socks, thought it would be interesting to breed her to english instead of my Se or egypt related stallions, Mandy. |

Hi Mandy,
Your mare is 77,95%+ Crabbet, more than enough to show her in Crabbet classes. Congrats!! I've added info to allbreed, take a look. Good luck with your breeding plans for her!
He he Monique, you must have looked at The Shah when I just had add his % there!

Bia and Lila, I am ashamed to say the only photo I can find at the mo is the small front on chestnut foal in the first picture, the next 2 pics are of her dam and the black and white pic is of her grand dam and gt grand dam. These chestnut mares are all very similar (showing their Crabbet ancestry), but Bint bint Rezah (Faih) is larger. I'll try to find some more up to date photos to post later.
Mandy. |

Hi Mandy, those pictures are lovely.. so I can almost guess how 'Faih' is looking!
I have to tell you that I've revised the % a bit for Faih, because Gayza isn't 100% which I thought! Faih is 77,88% Crabbet.. still more than enough for the Crabbet Shows though!
