Hi all
I have found a couple of photos of this chap who is a distant relative of my old mare.

He was born 1948 and was by Kingsettle Moidore of Muston out of Coral (PBA by Kairouan out of a New Forest mare Blackbird VI)

Hi Sarah
You are a star!!
Thankyou so much - will need to change the format of my pedigree chart cos have got so many of each relative now. What a fantastic dilemma to be in.
Best wishes
Debbie

I don't know whether anyone will know the answer but does anyone know where he was bred? His name caught my attention as I had always thought that Ready Token was an odd name for a place (just east of Cirencester in Gloucestershire) and wondered whether that is where his breeder had a connection to there? I know that I am probably asking the impossible but you never know what information people know.

Hi Suzi
He stood at Kilmarnock Stud which was in Crawley, Sussex but it is unlikely that he was bred there. The Palomino Society should have details of who had the prefix registered.
Best wishes

Hi Dormouse
Have just come across an advert for the Ready Token stud in the Summer 1968 edition of Palomino Magazine.

The address is:

Mrs. Hope, Upper Kilcott Farm, Hillesley, Wotton-under-Edge, Glos.

You were right about the location.
Best wishes
Debs

Thanks very much for satisfying my curiosity. I kept pondering about it and it's lovely to have an answer. Many thanks.
