I went up to my horse this morning and eric wasnt looking over the stable door as he normally does without fail.. my heart sinks as i walked to stable door to find his stable was a complete mess and he wasnt there, he had broken the wall at the back and the door was wide open with nails sticking out of the door frame which hed pulled off, (his stable leads to corridor inside the block), i looked towards the feed room where i expected to find him on the floor with legs cut etc, or something along those lines, nope.. looked at the other end of the block to see him stood in an empty stable next to his best friend, iv never been so happy, but it was the cutest thing ever beacuse they are always together! theres nothing worse than the feeling i got this morning thinking hed gone.

He wasnt injured in anyway thank god, he seemed calm when i left him for the night, but him and his friend moo had seen a trampoline before with kids on, so that could be what did it, i think its really cute how he goes to his friend for safety as hes only 3yrs |

Little devil fancy scaring you like that It's amazing the lengths they will sometimes go to to get to their friends, one of my daughters ponies scared the hell out of me once, I had left him the previous evening happily grazing, in the morning he wasn't there, I really panicked as the paddock was about 1/4 mile from home and thought someone had taken him overnight, when I ran out to the yard to get hedcollar, rope , bucket with feed etc., to start the search, there he was at the back fence, looking like butter wouldn't melt, with a look on his face that said "let me in then, I've come bck to see my mates" I could have cried. The little so & so had jumped out of the field, 4'6" high electric, come back along the road and patiently waited until I went out to get him. OH was not amused and said "Well, what do you expect - he's a jumping pony isn't he?" |

Phew blimey!! I read that expecting to hear some really bad news and it was great to find that he was OK. I think he's probably telling you he needs a different stable lol!! or perhaps his mate should move a bit nearer! Sandie |

My God what a fright, I agree with Sandie, could you not rearrange things so they could be beside each other. I know he didn't hurt himself but he might next time, if there is a next time.
