WHAT A FANTASTIC SHOW!!!! Don't think I've had so many goosebumps!!!
First it was Petron, my god can that boy move. I'd be very happy to have him looking over one of my stable doors!
The youngstock classes were VERY stong but the one I'd have like to take home was the last placed Sacred Spirit. Mandy and I really liked him and shame the foreign judges didn't.
It was lovely to see Ali Saleem again. He looked fantastic and Kate showed him to perfection. One judge absolutely assasinated his scores though by giving a VERY low mark to type, none of the others did. Where they blind!!!!
The mare of the show has already been spoken about MA Bint Azadik, to own let alone to have bred her as well is the stuff of dreams. She brought the house down as did Big Chick Khamilla Bint Kerim. We could not have clapped any harder when she stormed into the ring!
The stallion classes had to the strongest for years. And lovely to see so many british greats in there!
The best bit was seeing so many good horses being shown without being frightened of their (mostly british) handler AND winning their class or being very highly placed.
Special mention must go the the Super Veteran's. Not many forward but these ...... more mature horses still know how to turn it on!!! I sincerely hope the committee decide to keep this class and more people are tempted into bringed out the golden oldies for a party!
Lovely to see old friends and new and put more AL names to faces . |

I had time of my life at Towerlands To be there is one thing...to be allowed to show such class horses is out of this world Dakharo took my breath away, but highlight for me has to be running in with Rohara Faberge, never smiled as much in my life! |

Thanks Gail and roseanne, yes we had a fabulous show Mr gwiddy' thoroughly enjoyed his gallop out of the ring, and as for Azal....WOW!!! only his sixth ridden show, he was fantastically behaved he was joint with Storm Gold in the points, Storm won because of a higher ride mark....But I was sooooo soooo proud of him and I must say a big thankyou to Frances who rode him the championship for me as I was on Gwid, what an amazing job she did. BIG THANKS..ALSO BIG BIG CONGRATS TO STORM GOLDS TEAM VERY WELL DESERVED...so good to see him getting his just deserts...FABULOUS |

I still have the cheering and beautiful images in my head today....my highlites were Master Design who really bought the house down, Ali Khan who also got our side cheering. MA bint Azadik is just stunningly gorgeous and it was nice to see Mr Ashmore looking so well. Big Chick has caused me to lose my voice.....YES we screamed and whooped, what a lovely mare. Metelica 8 just gets better with age. Piligrim gave me a kiss.... what a lovely boy. It was wonderful to see Ali Saleem looking so well.....I did wonder where the judges were looking for his type and leg marks Final Shadow, Karat & Emma.......WONDERFUL as always, but then class will out. I have a spare stable for Sacred Spirit. The liberty class was enjoyable until the accident.....have to ask why the judges were standing in the middle of the ring fortunately Mrs Green was OK. I was lovely to see old faces (even if some looked younger than last yearat some points we did worry that they were at risk of melting in the heat!!!) we also met lots of new faces, so had a lovely weekend. My daughter only had eyes for a Brazilian..... and my dogs are knackered, so a good time was had by all.

hi, it was a brill show, first time i 've been and first time i have driven a long journey,it was worth it. my boy came scored 85.4 in the 2 yr old colts,we took a bronze medal home,it was only his second show and he got a bit over whelmed and didnt strut his stuff as he does but he did well, put it down to experience. i was leaving when the liberty class was on ,so i went and watched it then left,my daughter phoned and i had to do horses on the way home as our shetland had gone for a walk.i loved the liberty, it looks like great fun.does anyone know if the person who got injured and taken to hospital is ok.

Foegot to ask who was the DC who kept bolloking the bag wavers? he was great......wanted to buy him a pint, its about time someone stood up to these people. I was standing minding my own business(yes really) and this guy came rushing up behind me screaming and shaking a whip, when I realised my luck wasnt in, it became apparent he was trying to encourage a horse.......like the horse was taking any notice over the music and fear of the handler!!!!!! Anyway the DC hoofed him back over to the exhibitors section.....but not before he said to the steward "I have paid for this". We watched him all weekend (the DC) and he was nearly as entertaining as the horses. |

I also was watching the afore mentioned DC & while i agreed with all cases i was disgusted when he came over to where we were sat (very close to bag waver) with the usual angry face only to ask said bag waiver "is that your horse your encouraging" then complimented what a stunning looking stallion and that he should win the class!! ?

Please don't forget Els with Ryan, who was 4th and a Gold medal winner, in the senior stallion class behind Karat, Piligrim and Ali Khan! It was his first indoor show! He has been a great a ambassador for the breed. He was bought as a 3 year old and had done literally everything from pony club to cross country. Well done Els and Julie.
