Hi folks Not an arab this time but here is a picture of my little boy's Welsh Section B "Gini". Isnt she gorgeous?
She is by Rhosun Maori (Downland Rembrandt) out of Cloigen Fair Gemma. We bought her 3 years ago from Kerandi stud in Kidderminster which has since closed down.
Gini is 13 and has had 6 foals - but hasnt lost her figure!! I have found one of her foals up for sale a few weeks ago Kerandi Ruby Wiz. Does anyone out there have any more of her foals? Or have you got any piccies of any of her ancestors? She is on Allbreed Pedigree.com.
She obviously can be traced back to Skowronek so I feel justified in putting her on here as a partbred Arab!!!
My little boy is only 6 so he is happy being led around on Gini at the moment and we have done some leadrein classes. She has taken to being ridden like a duck to water after all those broodmare years. She is just an absolute little gem and will be with us forever.
This photo doesnt do her justice and this year her mane is even longer - she looks fab.
You guys are going to make his day when he gets up! He obviously thinks she is the best thing since sliced bread and and was wondering why only Judith agreed!! - (note for self - think of the consequences before getting a 6 year old's expectations up!!)
Here are some pictures of them at a show a couple of years ago. We have been lazy this year. Please ignore the "Mrs Doubtfire" stood next to him! - I have never lived this down - raided the charity shops rather than fork out loads of dough for outfit as he couldnt ride at the time. As you can see resorted to the old in-hand faithfuls later when I realised what a sight I was on camera!!!
Oh they look great together They both look like they are enjoying every minute as well.
I'm sure more people would have noticed this if it had been in the main forum---maybe haven't noticed it down here and possibly not the right place for it?
Oops just noticed you are trying to trace her relatives so it is the right place. You could post the pics of your son riding her on the main forum as well though---I'm sure everyone would love to see them.
