Sarah the lady Kate bought her from owns a big Palomino and white stallion called Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - I know she had at least one previous foal by him and is in foal to him again now but that is all I know I'm afraid. I will email you a couple of pics of her now - she is looking very good for her age. Lovely to see her sisters on this thread too! |

Indi the horses in my signature are all my babies - 1st is Ghost, a rising 3 year old colt, 2nd is Phantom, a cremello broodmare (that pic was taken the day she gave birth!), then there's Inde my 3 year old colt, Tifany my buckskin rising 4 year old who's been backed at the moment, then Spirit my 2 year old cremello colt and then me and Charlie - my WB!
I recognise those pics Sarah - I took them for Kate the day she arrived! |

Indi, my 2 older boys will be standing at stud this year which I am excited about but also nervous about as it's theirs and our first time! Depending on how stressful this year is then Spirit the cremello colt will also stand next year! Phantom the cremello mare is in foal to a Hannoverian stallion so quite looking forward to that one! Tif the buckskin is being backed to be sold after having a lovely buckskin foal last year... Bet you wish you hadn't asked now!! lol |

Hi Ladies,
I have just read through some of this topic and noticed some of the names,
I went to see two cremellos today and also a palomino mare,
The Palomino mare was by Moonshine Vision out of Fayrelands Silver Lace, The Cremello mare is by Shulay Faberge out of Lengend Moon Princess And the filly was by Kingsettle Mouton out of Millenium Gold
I didn't take any pictures of her I'm afraid,

Hi Indi , weren`t you ears burning ? I was on the phone to Josie for almost 3 hrs ! I have asked her for a picture of Legend Indian Goddess & a good pic of Roundhills Moon God , Silver Moonlight & Legend Ghost Moon so she is going to get them photo copied & then send them to me ! Josie told me that you bought your lad as a yearling colt & by the time i had heard all the rest of her news it was getting dark & i had my horses to feed ! |

Hi Sarah,
I am sorry I got mixed up with the Palomino and the Cremello, I have corrected my post now (I hope)
Legend Moon Princess had a cremello Filly not a colt in 2001 and it was by Shulay Faberge,
I may be buying this mare and her colt foal, I will let you know,
They are in Warwick, her name is Shulay Silver Fascination and the Palomino mare is Shulay Gold & lace by Moonshine Vision out of Fayrelands Silver Lace,

Hi Sarah,
yes I did have a look at him,
I dont think Cremello's are eye catching I have to admitt! But I was looking for a good quality mare to breed high percentage arab Palomino's, but I want tall ones,
I am now looking for a suitable chesnut stallion,
Have you ever heard of Akhal-teke, they are a breed of horse, supposed to be quite rare?
Fascination has a Akhal-Teke colt foal at foot,

Hi Linda , i know that Cremellos aren`t quite as beautiful as Palomino`s but at least you know that you will get a Palomino when you put them to a Chestnut ! You`d be better sticking to a PBA or Arab if you want a high % as my friend had a Akhal-Teke a few years ago & he was quite rangy & hard to keep weight on , they have a fantastic metalic sheen ! I Have posted a link on your other post ! |

Hi Sarah, Thanks for asking for those pics. You are a star. I only saw one of Indian Goddess when she was a yearling, so I can't wait to see a more recent one! Have never seen Moon God, as a whole either. Or Sliver Moonlight.
Can't believe you were on the phone for 3 hrs!! Did you find out any other interesting info?
Yes I did buy my boy as a yearling. Did she remember him well? He was meant to be Davids favourite |

If you e-mail me privately I will give you the details of the other horses, lmlyall5@hotmail.com

Hi Linda - if you want high percentage Arabian with height you couldnt go far wrong with a National Show Horse. Their temperament is wonderful. It will still look Araby but the Saddlebred blood will make it taller. Trouble is I dont know of any chestnut ones!! They all seem to be pinto - have you looked at Burnthouse Arabian site and Ffos Farms - they have some lovely NSH's, and others a listed on the ASAOGB and UK-USA websites.
I want to breed a big palomino NSH one day - have been looking at some gorgeous palomino and Cremello saddlebred fillies at Antigo Arabians website. Importing a tall filly with the dilute gene was seeming to look like the only option to me because the chestnut Arab stallion is the easy bit. We should be spoilt for choice.
Good luck with whoever you choose and keep us informed. Cant wait to see the piccies. Debs |
