Hi everyone, I'm on a mission to find photos and info on as many as my boys family as possible.
Please help if you can!
My boy is Legend Indian Prince. Heres the link to his breeding http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/index.php?query_type=horse&horse=LEGEND+INDIAN+PRINCE&g=5&cellpadding=0&small_font=1&l=
I would particuarly like to see pics of his dam and sire. I was shown them when I bought him from the Legend Stud, but unfortunately I've not seen them since :(. His dam was Legend Indian Goddess, and his sire Roundhills Moon God. I assume they were/are shown. Does anyone remember them?
I've already seen a few of his family on here . Does anyone have/have pics of, any more?
I've also heard about a magazine called "Palomino". Does anyone know how I can subscribe to it? I've never seen it...
Heres a pic of my boy himself. You may have seen him already in the "all discussion" forum. His names Indi. I've had him 2 1/2yrs, and he's my baby!!

Sarah... Thanks.I would be sooo greatful if you could find the pic of Goddess. I have only seen a pic of her when she was a yearling. Josephine was going to get me a copy, but I didn't get it :(. Did Goddess do showing?
Did you ever see Roundhills Moon God?
Have you still got Indi's half sister? Do you remember I contacted you before, and you sent me pics of her? Or have I got the wrong person?! |

Judith... I think Rufus looks more Araby, and lighter framed. He's gorgeous. I just love Arabs! Do you have a pic of the whole of him?
I wonder if anyone has a pic of the whole of Zalaman? |

Hes advanced endurance - although hasn't done much for the past two years. He is top left - my signature photos. I will look for a side shot of him!
Yes - I too would love to see all of Zalaman!!!

I love this site. The photos and information that you guys have is amazing. I dont feel quite such a "saddo" with my facination in my girls' bloodlines now I have joined your community!
Thankyou so much for posting the pictures of Zalaman Judith. He is lovely and you can see where Moonshine Vision gets his looks from. Isnt it a pity that there arent many big palomino saddlebred crosses around any more? The pinto NSH's are lovely but you cant beat a good golden horse (in my admittedly very biased view!) The sight of all of them all at the foot of the Malvern Hills in the sunshine is amazing.
I am so glad that I didnt enter my baby in the BPS nationals this year though because she has been kicked tonight!. Aaargh!! Nothing serious but annoying - and she is only out with one very placid older mare so she must have been winding her up. The joys of being owned by a horse! |

Hi Indi You get the Palomino magazine free if you join the British Palomino Society (website: www.britishpalominosociety.co.uk)
It only costs about £25 a year to be a member and they send you a colour magazine each quarter. There are some lovely pictures in there and details of horses registered by each stud etc so I am sure you will see lots of relly's of your horse.
You can also join at the National Championship show which is next weekend (21st and 22nd July at Malvern - 3 Counties Showground).
Hope to see you around sometime. Debbie

Hi folks Here goes.... first try at downloading a picture from flikr.com...
This is my filly with her previous owner taken last year when she was rising 3.
She is "Jazz" (AKA Springtimer Fabulous)by Shulay Faberge out of Roundhills Autumn Glory.
Moonshine Vision is her maternal grandsire but she looks nothing like him. In fact she is not saddlebred-y at all.
She is nearly 15.2 h.h. now and looks exactly like a female version of Shulay Faberge - very araby. It seems that Faberge is throwing loads of youngstock who look just like him - I have found at least 6 on the net who make me doubletake because they look so like Jazz.
Well - the preview works so I am feeling very proud of myself. It has only taken me about 4 weeks to get the time and patience to do this. Now must take some recent photographs of my mob to show you all.

Thanks for that saddlebred. Your horse is gorgeous! Faberge is my favourite stallion!
We'd love to see loads more of your pictures!
I don't think you can beat a palomino either
Do you know how much Saddlebred Moonshine Vision has in him? |

He needs to be 12.5% (I think) to register him with the SAddlebdred soc as a PB. Rufus is 12.5% ASB & is reg as a PB with them. Ginger is 56.25% ASB - her dam was pire Saddlebred.

Just for interest - here is Zalamans brother - Mariner of Neatheroaks....the white faced chestnut at the front...with my great friend Alex Nicholls on board....he is well in his 20s now, long retired....he is something like 12.5% ASB x Arab. Alex owns him.
He is uncle to my Rufus & they look similar, alex kept him with him for a time.

Thanks for that Sarah, I didn't know that. How long has she been there? I presume she was at the Legend Stud when she had my boy, 4 yrs ago. Did she go to the Roundhills Stud after that? Has she had any more foals?
Thanks in advance for the photos |

Hi Indi , Yes i have been friends with Josie & David ever since i bought Fantasy off them 14 yrs ago ,i haven`t seen Josie since the palomino champs in 2002 as i dont show them much now but we write to each other or i ring her ! Indian Goddess was sold as a youngster & did compete , she was good at jumping , years later someone told Josie that she was for sale so Josie went & saw her & bought her back , i remember she had a big scar on her rump ! That must have been about 10 yrs ago as when i went up to pick Fantasy up after being covered she was out in the same field as Fantasy & another Pally mare ....they ware all by Silver Moonlight & were all covered by Colebridge Silver Phantom ! Goddess didn`t get in foal that year so was covered the following year , her Cremello filly ( Legend Indian Shadow ) was beautiful , i saw her when she was about 2 or 3yrs old & My daughter fell in love with her , i have a pic somewhere of her & Abi.
Moon God has a lovely temperament & has sired some lovely foals . |
